Brotherhood of Steel in T-45?

So I got to the Prydwen and I've noticed all the Brothehood members are wearing T-45 Power armor instead of their usual T-60. Its even the old rusted paint job which is unbearable to look at. Furthermore after talking to ingram, where she directs you to your new T-60 waiting for you at the Power armor bench, even that suit of power armor is a rusted T-45. I don't have any brotherhood altering mods and the only power armor related mod I have is "More durable power armor". Anyone else have this bizaare issue?

hmm that is odd. hey try finding a save from before you went to the ship and uninstall the power armor mod and install my PA Boost mod and then check again. i doubt it is the mod my be a bug but hey worth a try.

I might have found the issue, many moons ago on a completely different playthrough I MANUALLY installed a mod that completely retextured the brotherhood armors and weapons. This time round I don't have it installed but I think maybe with that mod now ripped out, this current saves brotherhood units for some reason have had their T-60's removed from the game and resorted to T-45. Its pure speculation but Its the only logic I could find. I did find a mod that switched brotherhood to use T-51 instead and that is at least better to look at

if you look at that mod in F4Edit you could change their leveled list so they use T-60s.

you would only be allowed to use it in your game, and wouldn't be able to upload it to the Nexus unless you got permission from the creator.

alternatively, if you don't know how to make the edit yourself, you could post a request in the posts on the mod page.

im having the exact same issue as Andy here, i dont have any mod that states to change the Default armour to T-45 or even the rusty version! i've tried installing and uninstalling every PA mod that i have and none seem to work. The only difference between our issues is that i never manually downloaded any mod or have ever had a mod that has this function. has any solution been found or am i still completely in the dark here?
