Main Quest Problem

:blink: I have several mods loaded (30 +) and in order to do the verona house one I have to finish the main quest. All was going great until it came time for me to go to Paradise. No portal appearing. Martin makes it, stands there waiting for me to go in, but the portal does not show. All I can see is the sigil stone and the Wekland stone. I have unenabled every mod and still the portal will not show. I do have obmm, wrye bash and obse ( which is what I am using to launch the game, however I did try to launch it using the oblivion esm and still no portal) I have re-enabled my mods and still no portal. Is there a code that I can type in that will make the portal show. I don't want to bypass the quest. I just am not sure what to do about be able to go to paradise, with out starting conpletely over and not installing mods till after main quest is done ( by the way my hubby would kill me if I did that!!)

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated. :unsure:

This a known glitch of the main quest, happens even wit no mods installed at all.

 

If you reached this point so you already did all you was supposed to do. So you can open the console (the most left key above the tab one in your keyboard, if you never used it before) and type the following:

 

SetStage MQ15 20

 

this will place you directly where you would arrive from the bugged portal, and you can do this without feelings of cheating, as the fault is on the game itself.

 

Edit: doing so you will not bypass the quest.

I entered this code, it update my log but left me right in the lobby of cloud ruler temple. I heard the guy taliking and everything but feet firmly planted in the temple aarggghhh!! any other advise?? I even went outside to see if maybe I would be in paradise if I left the building no such luck.
