I have tested mods with mirrors in the home. They all had showlimitedracemenu as oppose to showracemenu.

 

Here is the question:

 

If you try showlimitedracemenu once and then try again right away the game crashes. Why does this happen?

 

If you try showracemenu once, and then try again right away the game doesn't crash.

 

 

So why are all the mods using showlimitedracemenu?

If you use showracemenu you can change your actual race which can cause other problems with skills, stats and the like. showlimitedracemenu does not have that problem cause it does not allow you to change race or gender. As to why showlimitedracemenu is crashing for you, I'd suspect that if you are using RaceMenu or ShowRaceMenu Pre-cache Killer then you memory is being adjusted when using showracemenu but not while using showlimitedracemenu. But that is just speculation and not verified by any stretch of the imagination.
