Getting Started with modding Morrowind

You can either install manually or use Wrye Mash to install. There's also MLOX, which is Morrowind's BOSS/LOOT.

MGSO is probably the 'best' thing to use if you want a major graphics update that's relatively easy to install. Just be sure to follow this walkthrough (check the comments too).

After that, you can browse and install other mods on top. Just make a note of the mods that MGSO already has, so you don't accidentally install a mod you already have.

My other recommendations: Less Generic NPCs, Tamriel Rebuilt, Morrowind Comes Alive, Children of Morrowind, Dramatic Vivec, all of Darknut's mods, Sotha Sil Expanded, The Undead, Deus Ex Machina, CanadianIce's Robe Replacer, Melian's Teleport Mod, and Necessities of Morrowind.
