hialmar
Hi all I play Morrowind with mods since 6 months and it was running nice but recently I have 1-2 second freeze when the music change (for combat or when I level Up). It's a well know problem but I don't understand why I have this now and not before. I tried to reinstall the game, to desactive antivirus, to repair broken codec with K lite, to play on another pc, but nothing works. Any idea ? Thanks. Dragon32
Defrag your HDD? Install onto a SSD? Seem to remember getting this myself too. IIRC music's played by a separate thread to the main game process. Not sure if you've restricted morrowind.exe to just one core..?

Dragon32
No worries, I should've used the right terminology. Processor affinity.

Dragon32
OK, if it's not something which makes you think "Oh, that's right I set morrowind.exe affinity to a single core" then it's probably a red herring. I'm afraid I don't have any other ideas.
