gapping with nude mods

im finding some weird gapping in calientes nude mod. im billateral spaces jut above the female models hips. this does not appear to be a seam problem, its like a chunk of mesh is just missing.

this leads me to an even greater issue, in that i dont really know how to keep various textures and meshes from different mods straight. since they all seem to just end up in the same folder, when using NMM, its a nightmare trying to figure out which ones to get rid of and which ones to keep, when editing errors like this, or removing mods.

Surely there must be a simpler or efficient way to do this, rather than remove each and every texture, one at a time, doing a load to see if it fixed the issue, then having to log out and repeat infinitely.

anyone ever see this? i have removed all mods (using NMM) that enhance or change texture, and now even when wearing vanilla underwear all females have a strap of skin missing on both hips?

is this some weird carry over from some other mod? i have also deleted that game reinstalled, and the gap is still there. im sure someone must have seen this before...

With nude mods (new bodies/skins), not only textures are added.

Also meshes are included to fit the new skins. So try to delete all the extra Meshes in your Data folder too, because they are likely causing the problem.

how do i do this without ending will a bunch of partially invisible people, which is to say, i tried what you said and ended up with a bunch of partially invisible people :(

and let me reiterate, the original problem was a little invisible patch of skin above the hips on nude or partially revealed female bodies. is this not due to a missing mesh already?

Try deleting all the female body meshes that you installed, as well as all the female body textures. Then reinstall the one body mod which you plan to use. Sorry if you already tried that, but I thought I'd mention that you should do it in the correct order.

I have seen this. I'm still not sure if it's specific to the mesh or the texture but it can be fixed by cleaning out the character meshes/textures and replacing them.

Are you using only CBBE or are you combining it with CHSBHC? Do you have the latest version? Do you use the BodySlide or Texblend tools?

Are you using any unique bodies/unique races mod?

I use unique bodies with CHSBHC skeleton/animation meshes and CBBE body meshes/textures. I've found i need to set everything up in a very specific order or else i get some weird issues, like the semi-invisible strap across the hip line. Also remember to run Texblend every time anything is changed.

One other thing that might help is to run a timestamp changer on your meshes and textures.

I've seen this issue when using nude mods along side of the Bethesda HiRes pack. Unchecking the HighResTexturePack01 and HighResTexturePack02 ESPs fixed it for me. A similar problem was manifest with the older versions of the ADEC body where the issue was that the UV map of the mesh didn't entirely line up with the texture. At least in some of the cases we're all seeing it may be due to a combination of Archive Invalidation issues and/or UV map problems.

  • 6 months later...

Please help me guys I have ruined my lovely female character model :D

No matter what I now try, my CHSBHC model has this issue of the strips on the hips missing.....the wrists also dont join to the arms properly.

I have tried to remove all mesh and texture files, and replace....but it is still the same?

Like an idiot I didnt back up the original files....is there anywhere I can download these to properly start again?

I cant find any other female body mods installed...it is rather confusing :D Im not a noob but Im not adept at this either and could really really use osme help - my mods were almost at the point that I was totally happy :(

(neck seams and some shadow stripping also apparent despite some fixes/patches...but that can wait!)

Can post screenshots of my folders if it helps

yours gratefully!
