Lock doors

I looked it up. Wiki says that "Penelope Charmosa" is a brazilian porteguese version of the Hanna Barbera cartoon "Penelope Pitstop" that premiered on CBS on September 13, 1969. The show lasted one season, with 17 half-hour episodes produced.

It can still be watched on the Cartoon Network.

There is also a 'gutter film' actress that uses the name "Penelope Charmosa". She has a pay-by the minute website. (I wonder why ...)

I'm more like the Hanna-Barbera version .. a little helpless sometimes, gets into trouble, needs help doing nothing ... Lol.

'Steph Charmosa' was here!

*giggles*

Yes, was The perils of Penelope Pitstop I meant, but is better stop here before being guilt of thread hijacking :)

The lock spell effect is disabled for a reason. Locking doors only ends up causing issues with NPCs. NPCs with certain packages can still get past locked doors, NPCs without keys can be trapped by doors with keys, or doors without keys (like on inns). The benefits to a lock spell are really limited to just being able to raise lockpicking skill. What else were you hoping to accomplish?

And you can lock doors from console too. This is what most lock spell mods use since the actual spell effect is bugged. It's simply "lock" in console, followed by a number 1-100 depending on how hard of a lock you want. TCL should really be avoided unless you happen to be stuck in the first place.

Why should we question why he wants to lock everything? He wants to try it so he can find out for himself what happens. He's trying to do something. Maybe he wants to trap a bunch on NPC's in a hotel, then use mark and recall to teleport into the room and kill everyone. For some folks, that would be a fun game. (for a few minutes, anyway)

TCL provides a quick way to navigate thru a dungeon or a cave, it simulates levitation, allows you to become 'unstuck', let's you get really high up and look at the Imperial Province from a different view, when you're 5000 feet in the air, turn collision back on and see what happens when you splat (or roll down a cliff) .. I like doing something different occasionally since I've been thru the main quest several times and don't really need to be a 'purist' any longer.

'getstage' and 'setstage' let me get past the Aldos Othran quest bug and complete it without getting frustrated. Sometimes I even use 'additem' to give me some gold when I need it.

I believe if a person wants to do unusual things with the game, it's certainly ok with me. If he wants to be a 'purist' and play that way, that's ok, too.

I do a little of both. When I get bored with the way Beth set things up, I change them to suit my current mood. (that's why we have 'mods' and 'modders')

Oblivion is an open-ended game where you can do anything you want any time you feel like it. Kinda like an enhanced version of real life ...

(don't tell him about 'tgm) ...

:)
