AGreatWeight
VotWGeneralPurposePatch.esp should be last in your load order
MightyZ0G
it might be worth having a read through the posts and bug reports on Spring Cleaning to see if anyone has had similar problems
sopmac45
Wow, that is a long list ( OP ) ... I do not see the Unofficial Patch in your list ( ? ) .... been using mods for about 3 months at the most. Have started my game like 4 times already because I made too many mistakes in the beginning; first, I was not using LOOT, second, I was uninstalling mods mid game and that is very dangerous, third, I was using all major HD ( 4K ) textures available ( the most endorsed ) + WOTC and my game was very unstable. I decided to drastically reduce the quantity of my mods and ONLY install those that I needed the most. Every player has his own idea on how to play this game and what is it that we want to have. I pay a lot of attention to : building houses, weapons, power armor enhancements and mods related to nudity. The last time I re-installed this game was like 4 days ago and I did not install any texture mod at all, believe it or not ! I decided to switch my Nvidia GeForce 1070 anti-aliasing ( TAA ) to OFF ( Best performance ) and turn-off God rays and leave the rest in ultra. I also decided to only install the mods that I really needed. So far, I only have 85 and none are related to texture at all. The only one close is : Color Correction to enhance Vanilla looks .... the rest are for building ( scrap everything, place everywhere, extended settlements, pass through wall conduits, etc - NO SIM ), weapons, power armor ( Worsin - for painting - which it is pure aesthetic - jetpacks color ) and nudity ( caliente, pubic hair, body slide, etc ). My game now has not CTD'ed .. not even once and my fps are 60 most of the time, except for some places like the city and others too clutter and that is expected regardless of how good your video card ( rig ) is. To be honest, my graphics looks much better now. The Nvidia TAA or FXAA are both anti-aliasing filters, meaning that they will avoid your graphic to look so crispy and sharp; if you turn that off and instead choose OFF ( Best performance ), your graphics will be crispy and sharp which ultimately it is what you would like to have when installing texture mods, so that is the reason I decided not to download any texture. The previous time, I tried to only install one single major texture mod among the list of most endorsed, and I chose FlaconOil's and still my game was unstable so I decided to go nuke, reinstall again and do what I did. So far, so good to be honest. One of the reason to do this was also that I am waiting for the new WOTC ( War of the Commonwealth ) and this mod is one that I would love to have because it will make my game more immersive. So, in order not to over stress my rig, I decided to get rid of texture mods and make room for this upcoming WOTC. Also, I learned to read the mod description provided by the author and follow his/her suggestions. For example, Scrap Everything must be load it at the end of the load list to avoid CTD's. Also, Immersive Lover's embrace must be loaded all the way to the top ( the higher Nexus permit ) for this mod to work properly and avoid CTD's. So, is not just to have a few mods, but to place them in the right load order. Last but not the least, I decided not even install : vivid weather, true storms, WET, grassland, etc, etc, etc, .... yeah, call me crazy but I still have Vanilla storms and they are more immersive because you cannot turn it off as I did when I had True Storms for example; so, it is what you want to have and what you want to do with your game. I am not an expert so I do not know what mods are crashing your game; I am just sharing my own experience and what I found out by having too many mods and not following the author's recommendations. At this point, I could still go much more drastic about the quantity of mods that I have, I could get rid of Weaponsmith, Extended weapons ... or whatever other mod related to weapon enhancement and you know why, because my preferable weapons are : AS VEKTOR, Vindicator Minigun, AN94, PTRS-41 and the M4A1 and all of these weapons are standalone. By using my console commands, I am able to make them explosive as I did so, I do not really need any mod to extend my calibers, weapons, etc ... I do have them now but if I have to get rid of them to make it easier for my video card, I will. For me it is very important how good the graphics are but if they are going to crash my game, then I would get rid of them and most of the time, texture ( massive/globals ) mods are the cause of this problem. They are really good mods and thank you to the authors for making them but in my case, I decided not to have any and as I said, I am getting the performance that I want. When I install the new WOTC, I am pretty sure that my fps will drop a bit in some areas ( more than now ) but still my performance will be good. That is most important to me than having 200+ mods and over stress my rig to the point of crashing my game so often. Cheers
