WolfFang21
I have a small problem with the High Res Texture pack DLC. I downloaded it from Steam, and it slowed my game down. I decided to uninstall it so I could run at full speed. The problem is that for no apparent reason, this Texture pack keeps loading itself. Is this something I did wrong, or is there something that I can do? I have reinstalled Skyrim to see what happens, and it still loads itself. Any help will be greatly appreciated. JDFan
Welcome to STEAM and it's great Auto Update Feature !! -- Once you download the DLC it is permanently tied to your account and the DLC will be installed anytime you reinstall the game -- to remove it you can either disable the 2 esp files in data options and leave the 3+GB of files in place (so Steam does not auto download them again like it will if you delete them ) or call STEAM support and have them remove the DLC from your user account. I have to re-check everytime I restart the game.

I know I have the ESP's unchecked and it has never tried to reinstall or recheck them.I actually have them loading thru the skyrim ini ao I can run other texture packs alongside them without overwriting. As do I as I use this and the great Skyrim HD - 2K Textures pack together.
