It always made me mad that I couldn't be Tamriel's empress. I'm asking if someone could make a mod were you become the emperor/ess. As emperor/ess your word is law what ever you say your gaurds, people, or the blades. I hope someone would make this mod. Also could you make the Red Dragon Crown. Plese respond.

If you are the emperor/ess. what are you going to do? Emperors don't go out and do things, that's what they have champions for. If there is a new band of bandits operating in the woods near Bruma, what does the emperor do? does he jump on his trusty steed and go charging off to right wrongs? NO! He calls for his champion. and says "You go out and clean our these pesky bandits while I sit back safe in my palace."

Being Emperor in a game like Oblivion would be very boring. While being champion can be more exciting.

maybe the Elder Council decides that they need someone to fill in for Emperor and they decide the Champion is th ebst one to do it. besides thats a stereotype of leaders such as emperor empress etc. but honeslty we'r roleplaying so we3 use our imagenations. maybe the Empeoror/ess has no champion and actuallgty is the strongist being in cyrodill

Actually there are already some mods that put a character near the emperor throne, both Kvatch Overhauls does it. But it goes longer, with the Elder council there is the possibility of becoming yet more near that throne, but the things seems to stop here, not for being impossible, the own author of the Elder Council mod arose this question... What would do an adventurer after becoming the supreme leader?... the common answer seems to be: maybe abdicating the throne and returning to the adventurer life?

Bben covered that well enough. Even in small tribal societies the strongest warriors still answer to the elders. It isn't until the warrior becomes too decrepit, or all other ruiling persons are no longer around that he would be given a position of top leadership. And when that happens, they usually spend most of their time sitting within safety (since that person is the leader). Historically, the leader of a country would only go off to battle if it was a long campaign, and they had a fairly large army at their disposal (including many personal guards). And when they did leave, control of the country was usually left to trusted/elected officials.

Given that, any sort of emporer mod would either be beyond the scope of what should be attempted in Oblivion, or you would be emporer in name only, and not have any actual powers. Since the eldar council seems to be more of a democratic base, you probably wouldn't even be able to run around killing who you wanted as emporer (not that that would particularly solve anything either). They may not throw the emporer in prison, but they may still remove him from the public. Afterall, dead people can't pay taxes or do any work.

Guy's that's the beauty of it all one it's a game second your the emperor the blades will follow you every where. Also you could tell them to hunt for what ever vampires wolves bears bandits it would be like when you become the chief of the meadhall in Solstheim. Speaking of that meadhall the chief (which is you) can go out and kill anything or do anything he wants and they aren't babysiting him/her but then again they are Nords.
