Realistic Cape

So this is my first post, and i'm new to this site. I realy like it and it's easy to install mods etc. with the mod manager.

Anyways, I don't know if this have been mentioned before in the forum, but i'd very much like a realistic cape!

I'm a cape person, I mean i love capes, it adds so much and makes everything a lot cooler just with a cape ! :teehee:

So when i first found a cape mod i was excited, but then i was disappointed, cause it's like the cape is a part of the armor it's stuck in the armor.

I mean i want it to be more realistic, i'd love to see someone make a cape that's ragdoll like.

Also the capes i've seen are too short for my liking, they only go down to the knee.

I'd love to have cape that almost reaches the ground.

Like this (Tho you don't see what i mean, but i guess you guys get it :tongue: )

↑ That cape is not one with the armor nor; stuck/not moving/or not realistic at.

Btw! If any of you have played Batman: Arkham Asylum/City, a cape like that is what I'm talking about! :yes:

Excuse my English, i'm from Norway! :tongue:

Actually, I'm pretty sure some modders are slowly figuring out how to add physics to the clothing. Although, I haven't downloaded it and seen it for myself, I think Cherryhotaling's body mod adds, um... *ahem* bouncing body parts... So yeah, if she were to figure that one out, we could see other mods start using it.

edit: OH, I almost forgot! The

has clothing physics! Sorry, I had too :tongue: Edited by Link01000

@ghosu-

In the jam video, there was that one section that we are thinking about. I thought that it was only a change to environmental statics (where the item of cloth is physically anchored to another part of a nonmovable static) that allowed for the use of anchored statics that give the impression of ragdoll/havoced physics. But then the part with the giant had the same thing so I have been really thinking about this one but I still got squat. If we could add havoced clothing without a noticable drop in performance and framerate it would mean an entire change in the perception of realism to the game. Clothing would be made differently because it would not be put under such heavy skeleton restrictions. At this point in time, we cant have real skirts, actual flowing capes, capes that cover the front, or strips of cloth (like loinclothes) on the characters person. Environmental effects like wind do not carry the clothing. Also, our clothes and armor dont get wet. Every thing is locked and the only way to get those types of flowing movements is through animations, which is where all of the BBB style effects come in. They are animations, not havoced physics( you probably already knew this :tongue: ) If this doesnt get implemented by Bethesda at some point in the future, it will definately have to get tacked up on the board for required TES:VI features. Its about time we got some much needed realism^^.
