FurAfterDark
I was going to get the non-commercial version of Mari to learn how to texture ..So i googled what it means but it says that MOST of the time, non-commercial means that you aren't selling/making money off of what you make but i am wondering if a mod counts as commercial use or if this site counts mods as commercial use. DoctorKaizeld
we cannot profit from mods outside Bethesdas Creators Club. No author on this site is allowed to legally profit from their mods.

DoctorKaizeld
sure. well, I would assume so as you aren't profiting from it... read through the rules (Terms of Service) though just to be safe.
Deleted15964729User
Mari seems a bit much if you're wanting to get into making textures. Would suggest getting familiar with the substance suite or quixel instead. Just a sidenote of course.
Rodiculous
does profit include adsense from youtube and other income such as patreon? I'm fairly certain some big modders like Elianora use patreon
DoctorKaizeld
Donations are fine, i believe Elianora is an artist and that is what her patreon is for.
stonefisher
Yes tipjars and patreons are not profiting as they are donations with no expectations of compensation.
DoctorKaizeld
Those arent allowed for beth mods actually.
stonefisher
Then why does nexus have donate buttons for bethesda games? Because your tipping the mod author and not giving money for any specific mod to be developed or supported.
