main quest, path of the dawn, stalls on me.

when i go to meet baurus in the Luthur broad's boarding house i start to run into problems. i've done this quest with another character but now i have installed a few mods and OOO. most mods are clothing and armour for the kendo girl quest.

i talk to baurus while he is sitting (when he tells you to sit down and shutup) his lips move then. but when i follow him and the mithic dawn character down stairs baurus seems to shut down at this point. he doesn't fight like he did before and when i go to talk to him after i've killed the Dawn NPC the sound is still there but the lips don't move.

this wouldn't be so bad but the kicker is when you come back to him to lead you down in the sewers he is still stalled there in luthur broad's and won't move. the sound is still there when you talk to him and he says 'lets go to the sewers' or whatever but then he doesn't move.

can anyone point me in the right direction. am i going to have to remove my mods one by one to figure out which if any is causing this, i kind of assume it is OOO. is there another 'thing' i don't know about.

The 'mask' over the NPC face I can imagine only if you are using some beauty pack, yet this should not be a impeding feature.

It's not OOO for sure. Your load order is very important to diagnose the problem. Without it no advise will be consistent beyond being loss of time over suppositions.

You can use OBMM "View load order' to copy and paste it, if you don't have OBMM is never too late to grab it ASAP.

ok i went through a prosess of elimination. i tried rearranging the load order as you suggested. but no joy, so i started deactivating mods. i have removed every ESP and every OMOD except OOO1.33 with FULL install + living econemy and everything else as recomended in the OMOD installer.

it still happens. it all works/goes back to normal in the vanilla version because i've deactivated OOO as well and tried.

 

what acctually happens is baurus goes unconsious. baurus first tells me to sit down then tells me to follow the man on the chair. i say 'OK' and baurus gets up and leaves and everything seems normal up to this point. as soon as the mithic dawn agent gets up to follow i get a message "baurus is unconsious". baurus never regains consiousness obviously.

 

i think i will take this to a OOO forum thread as it seems directly related. i will check here again though if anone has an idea about this.

I have a similiar problem? I ignored Baurus after obtaining the Mythic Dawn Volume 3 book, and now he is stuck in Summitmist Manor and unable to move when he tells me to follow him to the sewers? I haven't uploaded any mods and I really want to continue with the main quest! Is there a mod that can help?
