MalachiDelacot
Hoping you know how to use Windows Explorer (no offense intended)Go to where you installed the game.Example: on my computer Local disk (C:) <click the + >Bethesda Softworks <click +>Oblivion <click +>Data <click>some files will be in their own folder, some in the Data folder.Click/highlight the files/folders you KNOW are the modsright click mouse or use delete key <click>Window pops up, asking if you want to send file/folder to recycle bin.Yes or no, it's your choice. Make sure they are the files you want todelete and DO NOT empty the recycle bin until you are sure things in the game run correctly. (in case you need to restore them)This will also automatically delete those mods from the data files in the opening screens of the game and you needn't be bothered with them there. If you lived in Colorado Springs, I could show you in person, but we have to make due here.Look for the names of the files that run the mods. Delete them, and that should do it. Look for esp. files. Some of the files will be labeled "The Elder Scrolls Construction Set File" These are those created by modders. Any files you are not sure of, if you right click on the file name, it brings up a menu. Click on "properties" and it will tell when you installed it...."created" If it's the date you installed, that's one of the mods you want out. Just to be on the safe side, leave BSA files alone. Text files you can kill unless you really want themHope this helps. My Oblivion Folder has 383 subfolders, 9,827 files, so I'm looking at a much different picture than you are. LHammonds
There is a Java program called Oblivion Mod Remover that allows you to remove all the files in your Data folder based on the contents of the mod's archive (that you downloaded).
