sekhmeth1500
Hello all. I wanted to ask some questioons about Oblivion and Blender. 1: I have installed blender and extracted the BSA Files. If i import the Body Parts in Blender the meshes are extremely big. And thats only the Legs and the other Body Parts. If i import an House or something else it has an enormous size. Are the units equal to each other or must i scale the Meshes down ? 2: My Blender does not support DDS Files. And Photoshop elements does not support targa or DDS Files. Is Gimp good enopugh for Texturing ? I dont know wich Files are supported for nif files. If i import Bodymeshes in Blender the Body is painted black because the mesh has an dds File as a Texture and the polygons are only selectable from the inside. I tried several settings but nothing helps. Is it possible to download an dds Plugin to Blender and export it rightly ?
LFact
Get DDS plugin here: https://developer.nvidia.com/nvidia-texture-tools-adobe-photoshopDon't know about Photoshop Elements, but the problem is: the installer was never updated for Photoshop CC. If it is the case: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/76482/?And there's Intel Texture Works: https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/intel-texture-works-pluginDDS plugin for GIMP: https://code.google.com/archive/p/gimp-dds/downloads Edited July 26, 2017 by LFact
Wolfhound2
Also, Paint.Net will happily work with DDS files. That's what I normally use for texture-twiddling.
