Talmor
Would it break the game any if use the console command "scrapall" with the mod Scrap Everything installed to get rid of everything at a settlement? I was wondering about pathing issues (if thats the right term).
ShayVizla
I would certainly be careful using console commands. They can easily problems even if it doesn't happen right away. Out of curiosity why do you want to get rid of everything in a settlement? Edited July 31, 2017 by ShayVizla
damanding
Using scrapall console command has nothing to do with the Scrap Everything mod. Scrapall is from Bethesda and wasn't intended to be used for anything other than development purposes. There are several settlements at which you can and will run into problems by using it. For instance it will break quests at the Castle. I don't recommend using it. I realize its more time consuming, but either use a mod which pre cleans a settlement for you or use Scrap Everything and do it yourself. Also, scrapping things not meant to be scrapped in vanilla absolutely can cause settler navigation issues. For example if you scrap those large hedges in Sanctuary, there's no navmesh underneath them. Same with scrapping the house foundations, no navmesh underneath them. Mavkiel
Using scrap all command in and of itself is a fairly bad idea. I would instead ask what is your aim? Are you trying clear out various pieces of junk? Get rid of vines or some other stuff? If thats the case, something like http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/25350/? might work for you, or at least make the process less tedious. fftfan
Is it okay to use Scrapall on a Conquest Settlement if I decide I want to totally get rid of a settlement. I was building in a spot in Nuka World at the border by Hubologists camp but I found it wasn't a great location performance-wise for a very large settlement so I used Scrapall since Dissolve Settlement caused crashes. Navmesh thing could be an issue since enemies spawn directly inside the former build area. If I end up having to make a new game, no real big deal I suppose as I haven't played that long.
