Arena Crash

This isn't a random crash, it's a consistent, repeatable one. Every time I try to go into the arena bloodworks, the game crashes to the desktop, no matter what savegame I use. I'm really baffled as to why - I don't have any mods installed that are supposed to affect the arena.

 

However, I also don't have any patches installed, official or otherwise, (I'm waiting to get SI in a few days before I start patching - although in hindsight, I probably should have waited until then to start modding too :sweat: ). This is never an issue I encountered on my other computer, where Oblivion is also unpatched. Does anyone know if this is a bug fixed by patches? Has anyone had the same issue?

 

Oh, and I should probably mention that I'm running Vista. I have this sneaking suspicion that Vista is interfering with a few of my mods, somehow, because ones that worked perfectly on the XP machine just refuse to show up on here.

This post suggest we guess the problem. Somewhat more easy would be if you posted your specs and mod order.

My specs should be fine - this computer is brand new. Core Duo Processor, 2 GB RAM, 500 GB hard drive, NVidia GeForce 8800. Oblivion runs like butter on it. This is the first time I've had a crashing issue in about a week of gameplay, though it's also the first time I've tried the arena.
