Recently, I removed all my mods from the TESNEXUS because of comments, flamers and what not... Ironically, aftering going through the forums I learned that AlienSloth had also removed all her mods. This is atrocious that such comments could force good modders from removing their materials from the community. Although I am not as experienced as she is, my mods had quite a number of downloads. I also through suggestions and requests kept up on updates frequently so that the mods could be upgraded on quality and for the most part enjoyable for those who wanted them. But, henceforth I removed them because frankly I'm tired of those individuals that only have negative things to say and.. whom usually seem to be new to the forums. That's too bad, I'm really irate about this because I had moved up to planning quests for my larger project. Either way, they're gone. Through email you can request for these or simply find someone who has the mod. I'll post what I had and the loaded description I had for it here.

Description

===========

Tamriel's Underverse ~ formerly City of Spiders (no longer available)

 

Menzoberranzan, Blingdenstone (a dwarven city), Mithral City (a dwarven city), Ched Nasad (suspended city of drow) are some of what is planned and partially in place, in this immensely large dungeon (maybe the largest of all). This underverse, or realm if you want to call it that will host many creatures of lore from the well known Menzoberranzan legends of the drow. This is work in progress (WIP), so some creatures are not in place. Check details below on progress of work.

 

The entrance is east of Fort Scinia, up the hill. Due east of Cheydinhall.

 

*small note on future updates: I only know of 2 crossbow mods and both do not want their material mixed with other mods. It would be nice to have drow with hand crossbows... but for now I don't see it possible since I don't have 3dsmax. Which means if you want crossbows, you will have to use them for your 'player'. Presently they aren't free to incoporate in whole or part to any mod yet.

Also the Mindflayer is another thing I would like to see in this mod, but the only project I know of isn't complete yet nor do I know if they will be releasing it to be used freely. If you want to read up on this or see their work you can visit this link The Underdark

To keep the feel of FR without using the original names, I added Drow houses and their interrelation dispositions for each other. This was done for incorporation of future quests and story lines. The following are the added Drow houses (factions).

The entrance is east of Fort Scinia, up the hill. Due east of Cheydinhall. Final release will have two or more optional ways to find the underverse.

 

Install

=======

Unzip the .esp file to your \Oblivion\Data\ directory and activate the .esp Tamriels_Underverse_1_24 the next time you start the game. Make sure you deactivate/delete older versions. Version 1_24 now requires M.E.R.P. Caves Resource for Modders. Install to \Obilvion\Data\

Upgrade

If anyone would like to participate or suggest ideas on the project let me know. All ideas will be considered. Furthermore, periodically I'll upload the upgrades.

 

Known Issues or Bugs

====================

According to 'Conflict Detector' and "Oblivion Mod Manager's' conflict detector, there are no conflicts. Some minor overlaps of some things but I'll fix those. Other than that if something is broken or doesn't work quite right, let me know.

v1.1, 03/31/08

Reduced Lighting & Clip Dist (although I prefer it up so people can see the work), only .. caves should be dark. Especially down here.

Fixed conflicts in races. (my mistake)

 

v1.2, 04/10/08

Added Added 20 new Drow house factions. ( all in drow language )

Added new monsters Animated Armor, Beholder, Fire Mephit and Floating Skull, Deep Dragon, Shadow Dragon, Red Dragon. Models are made but not in place yet.

Wip: Shriekers, Dwarves and Mind Flayer. Although this is proving to be exceptionally difficult. May need help.

Scheduled hopefuls: Outside of obvious vanillas, Sverfneblins, Bainligors, Bi-nous, Phaerimm, Gaunds, Creepers and Dopplegangers. Will take exceptional scripts but I'm giving it a whirl. Among other things, Ooltul (a small Beholder city), still working on Ched Nasad. Also Deep Wastes with Brikklext (goblinoid) and Blessed Seahaven (kuo-toa).

arachnomancer (planned upgrades are improved spider summonings)

yathrinshee (planned upgrades are higher level multiple undead summonings)

blackguard are dedicated champions of evil; diabolical and almost fiendish. Very much the opposite of an honorable Knight. Has protection from elements, demoralizes foes, causes wounds and summons an evil fiend once a day.

Currently being worked on and not available in this version. The Flayerspawn Psychic is a psionic individual who seeks to learn more of her illithid heritage and thereby transform herself, eventually, into an illithid, including gaining the ability to use the deadly mind blast power.

... new monster: Phase Spider, not finished yet.

...finished interiors for Arach-Tinilith the Lolth Temple (be careful on entering, it is guarded by temple spiders. Although the architecture is finished the interior decor is not).

...added a few NPC's with basic pakage/ai. working on more to come (big project).

MOD2

Anime Style Face - Tithiri

Tithiri is a Lineage II elf with Corean #19 hair and has NO ELF ears. The mods I used to create Tithiri were simply the combined mods of "Elves of Lineage II plus Corean_hair_for_Original_race and Ren's Beauty Pack Full" by replacing the ears with Imperial ears in the CS editor, enlarging the eyes and shrinking the lips along with a few other cosmestic changes. I thought I would upload this mod but with certain exclusions of the above mods. I always wanted a better looking human than just the basic ones provided. So this is my attempt to do that and I made this mod so that I wouldn't mess up my other mods that accompany the construction of this one.

 

A (.off) and an (.ess) file is provided or you can export the NPC "Tithiri" from the .esp included. You can also just start a new game with the .esp provided. I made big changes in the basic "Lineage2" face in order to create the Anime Style Human. Hope you like it.

 

This mod is simply an altered mod of the below mods so that I wouldn't overwrite them.

 

You may do anything you want with this mod.

 

Requirements

_Ren_Beauty_Pack_full.esp ... for the hair and eyes

KT_CustomRaceFix.esp ... and of course so you can escape prison ^-^b

To uninstall, delete the .esp

Blue Staff ready

(you can get the staff still from original author, you just have to place it your own mod)

 

Hi, this was simply too good a staff to not have it given to the player immediately. Since it was only a Modders Resource, I decided to make a small mod to just add it immediately upon activation of the mod.

 

Place it in \Oblivion\Data\ folder and activate BlueStaff.esp. There are no conflictions, models and textures are completely new and all credit goes to Wolf2 for a great staff.

This is an introduction of working models for a retextured Evil Eye (a.k.a. Beholder) and the Firedemon (a.k.a. Fire Mephit). Both were designed separately by the authors Saiden Storm and .... . I will be using these new monsters in my MOD City of Spiders (wip).

I feel your pain. :( It's always sad that people can't just be grateful for these freebies which we share gladly, and feel that they have to female dog and moan until they drive the modders away.

sigh, exactly... it just irates me so much now, because I was beginning my quests design. But, I offered my larger TU (wip) mod to the Underdark team

I'm really sad to here that. I haven't downloaded any of your mods, but good, or not so good mods; I'm in full support of the modder who spent their time and passion to enhance the game we all love. I noticed a lot of players that just download mods do not understand that it's not onesided, and they to, have to work at it.

 

Well I hope you reconsider, because I'm sure your mods will be missed.

go one, forget the ironacal or other comments, and continue to do some little mods. Afther spending time, you'll be able to do some super mod (I'm not talking about the size, but the quality of the mod) ;)

I am sorry you have had to tolerate such behavior. I'm not a modder, but I do consider myself pretty good at fixing problems when people can't get an install to function correctly. So in your honor and in hopes that you'll both continue to mod, I am adopting a new policy:

I am brand new here but not to gaming as I have been around since the 90's mainly in flight & sub sims and have seen this before. The conclusion I have come to is we the silent majority need to speak up in support of those who give their time freely to better enhance our game of choice, if we see attacks on one of the modders then speak out in support of the modder and report the idiot who is attacking.

 

The modders are the life blood of a game as it is them that extend the life of a game by allowing us the gamer to experiance new stuff keep the thrill going and we need to give support back as a token of thanks, but at the same time we also should be allowed to point out any faults in the mod in a effort to further enhance the mod, the devil is in the details - we need to be polite and clear on the suggestions as the written word on a forum can be misinterprated easily especialy if it is read by a non native english speaker who does not see your face to know you meant no offense in what you wrote.

 

It ebbs and flows, great modders come and go and if the community is strong and well moderated then others will come and fill the spot left but if the community keeps turning on it self then it will die and everyone will move on to something else, I did as I used to love a certian flight sim but due to the stand over tatics of a group of central modders who thought they had the right to bully all who questioned them I left.

 

These are the thoughts of someone who has never played Oblivin or Morrowind and is sad to read this upon coming to a new community. It is very confusing as a brand new guy as the amount of mods and different things has lead to more than a few frustrated choice words at the computer but I would never come back and vent at the modders as I know that the fault is more than likely in the way I am trying to install it and I just need to read up a bit and work the problem, and to tell the truth I actually get enjoyment out of solving the problem and getting the mod to work, wierd but true.

Even though I am sad to see a modder go, in all honesty, I do not see why flames are so bad. It's going to happen one way or another.

 

They're morons, and hence such their opinion is as insignificant as an ant against a raging river.

 

The mod I'm making is going to be excruciatingly hard for low levels, it's meant to be tackled head on at level 50, but the lower levels can run. But when it's released, I know for a fact people are going to female dog at me going "OMFG!!! IT 2 HARD!!! NO1 CAN DO DIS AN IM LEVEL 3!!!111shifteleleven"

 

If you really don't like it, check their profile, if they have mods, try them out, and give constructive criticism, considering the way they acted against you, they won't be able to handle it. If they don't have mods and signed up just for the sake of flaming you, they're just trying to start some drama, and sadly it works a lot.

 

Still, so long, I hope you change your mind someday.
