wozob
I have been trying to get mods to load in the game for last several days and i cant get mods to appear in the game and i have tried everything including creating the customs pref folder and putting in[Archive]bInvalidateOlderFiles=1sResourceDataDirsFinal= But no effect. Can anyone please suggest how i can get mods in the game. Why is Bethesda making this difficult as it is usually a straight forward process. skubblebubble
sometimes the plugins.txt file gets changed to read only. One way to check, is run LOOT, and if it gives an error on trying to apply changes, that's usually it.The logfile there also shows where the plugins file is. Usually: c:\users\yourusername\appdata\local\fallout4 I believe. (I'm on my linux machine, so can't check right now) turn off the read only flag. Seems if you go into mods in the game menu, it flips it back on.
