I think, having seen you dabble elsewhere in 3D-ness,you could probably make some weapons parts packs by yourself, or in a collab.you could probably make the meshes, perhaps the textures also.i encourage you to give it a go, Fixie, and, I would recommend as inspiration for other implements to add to that list,any of the "kyber pass weird implements" from Forgotten Weapons hehe.we don't need the glastonderry pocket miracle, or the auto-revolver. The Chernobyl reactor mesh was not intended for use in any games, it's purpose is simply art. I'm just making suggestions for any weapon modders who might read this thread. Radsweeper Posted August 9, 2017 Share Posted August 9, 2017 Here are a few weapons that I would like to see in FO4.K-50M : A Vietnamese variant of the PPSH 41 that would be a perfect counterpart for the M3 Grease Gun. A model is available by red rogue XIII. It would fit in nicely in the game, likely in the hand of raiders.Armalite AR-10 : An early 1960's AR that did not get the attention it deserve. Noteworthy are the Portuguese Carbine and the Sudanese version. They are a love child between an M-14 and a M-16.Carl Gustav m/45: A 9x19mm Swedish machine gun that saw usage by US troops in Vietnam. It also saw use by CIA operatives and advisers. There are several models out there that could be used.FN FNC : Sizewise not as big as the FN FAL, but the right size for urban combat. I believe a model by MTindle is out there. I think that would match the gunner look and feel.Smith & Wesson Model 39. A nice pistol used by Seal in south west asia. A model is also available by red rogue XIII.Nothing too spectacular, but I think these would efficiently replace the generic bullet dispensers in the game. When I hadFNV at its very best personal taste, I had such a truckload of guns in there I still wonder how the ATF didnot knock down my front door down - in a virtual way of course.My all time favorites were Weapons of a new Millenia by Millenia and his talented crew. Having that pack ofguns gave the game a unified feel to the weapon aspect of FNV. That's why I really miss having him around. Hedid give us a few gems in FO4 but compared to the long list of from the FNV it was nothing. From what Iunderstand, back then he was unemployed so he had more time on his hands to turn out a steady stream ofimpressive guns. I don't blame him, but I still hope he would turn in a gun or two every year...That's why FO4 left me so bitterly disappointed in the weapons department (among other disappointments). Surethe gun crafting aspect was nice ok but a big step down from FNV. The whole armory was just a steaming pile ofcow manure period. Fortunately a lot of very talented modders have stepped up and gave us many beautiful deathdealing devices. I know its not in the same ballpark, but when you look at the upcoming game Escape from Tarkov with its impressive weapon load out and customization screen, you are left to cry.But I have high hopes for Antistar upcoming W.A.R.S mod. Seeing the amount of quality work he is putting into it, I feel we will in time have something very valuable to hang in the dirty gunshack that Bethesda gave us.
