kvngreeley
Hello, everyone. I am hoping that someone can look at my load order and tell me if it looks OK and maybe answer a couple of questions. I use Wyre Mash and MLOX. I also don't understand why MLOX would put the base game .esp files (Morrowind, Tribunal, Bloodmoon) lower in the order and not at the top. Here is the load order: Archive 0=Tribunal.bsaArchive 1=Bloodmoon.bsaArchive 2=MW_Children_1_0.bsaArchive 3=Complete Morrowind.bsaArchive 4=Arvs-Spelun.bsa [Game Files]GameFile0=BT_Whitewolf_2_0.esmGameFile1=Better Heads Bloodmoon addon.esmGameFile2=Better Heads Tribunal addon.esmGameFile3=Better Heads.esmGameFile4=Bloodmoon.esmGameFile5=Bucklers_GoTY.esmGameFile6=Hilgya the Seamstress.esmGameFile7=MW_Children_1_0.esmGameFile8=Morrowind Patch 1.6.5 Beta (BTB Edit).esmGameFile9=Morrowind.esmGameFile10=The Undead.esmGameFile11=Tribunal.esmGameFile12=Wyrmhaven.esmGameFile13=3LV_Jessica_v2.2.espGameFile14=3shades.espGameFile15=A Dagon Fel House.espGameFile16=A Hermit's Request.espGameFile17=AOF_Undies.espGameFile18=Akaviri Seconds.espGameFile19=Alchemy Book_1.3.espGameFile20=Ald-ruhn Expansion 2.00.espGameFile21=Alladin's bottle_v3.espGameFile22=Amazon Tops.espGameFile23=Amulet of Scrye.espGameFile24=Ancient Foes.espGameFile25=Animal Skin Undergraments.espGameFile26=Anya's Directions.espGameFile27=Apothecary's Demise.ESPGameFile28=Araweth's_CrossbowsV01.espGameFile29=AreaEffectArrows.espGameFile30=ArmoredRobes_NPC_Compilation.ESPGameFile31=Arrow_Belts.espGameFile32=Arthmoors_Merchants.espGameFile33=Arvs-Spelun.ESPGameFile34=Atronach Expansion X.ESPGameFile35=BT_Lokken_child1.espGameFile36=BadKarma's Anjurin Chest.espGameFile37=BadKarma's and Leeloo's Serenity V2.0.espGameFile38=Bagel's Manor.ESPGameFile39=Balconyhouse.espGameFile40=Balmora Manor.espGameFile41=Balmora Stronghold.ESPGameFile42=Better Bodies.espGameFile43=Better Clothes_v1.1_nac.espGameFile44=Better Morrowind Armor DeFemm(o).ESPGameFile45=Better Morrowind Armor.espGameFile46=Bisexual_v10EV.espGameFile47=Bitter_Island.espGameFile48=Black Clothes.espGameFile49=Blades Safe House.espGameFile50=Bloodthirst.ESPGameFile51=Book of Disease.ESPGameFile52=Caius Constant effect items.espGameFile53=Chainmail Tops+Slips 1.1.espGameFile54=Clean Aradia's Needle.espGameFile55=Clean Ascadian Styles.espGameFile56=Clean BB_Tshirt_and_Skirt.espGameFile57=Clean BadKarma Clothing Vendor.espGameFile58=Clean Bethaliz's Lefemm armor v2.espGameFile59=Clean Black Hand Bowset.espGameFile60=Clean Black Widow Robe.espGameFile61=Clean BloodDress.espGameFile62=Clean Copy Pens clothing mod 1.espGameFile63=Clean Gondor Ranger Armor.espGameFile64=Clean Histaang Forest V4.espGameFile65=Clean Pens Clothing Mod 2.espGameFile66=Clean Weapon Pak K3DG.espGameFile67=Clean_Staff Agency.espGameFile68=Cloak of Three.espGameFile69=CoM_Fix.ESPGameFile70=CoM_em_outfits1.espGameFile71=CoM_rt_outfits.espGameFile72=Complete Armor Joints.espGameFile73=Complete Morrowind - Finally, I would love to use the Ebonheart Orphanage mod, but whenever I activate it, I get 50+ warning messages about 4 different NPCs and dialogue problems. In my last load order, before I completely uninstalled, reinstalled, and reloaded my mods, I moved the Orphanage mod to the end of the load order and all the warning messages went away except one about cdccompanion. However, moving it this time doesn't do anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I am especially concerned that my mod order isn't right and I won't know until I get far into the game. kvngreeley
So, I am still wondering about the load order, but I fixed the warnings by disabling the Trainer Log mod and by opening and saving the Imperial Legion Expansion mod in CS. I saw that solution in another post to a similar question. So the warnings are gone and I am still experimenting with the beginning of the game and turning off some beginning mods that I can readily verify as not being useful or duplicated. I am still very curious about the load order and if anyone has any idea about how to make the Orphanage mod not give 50+ start up warnings. Thanks! Dragon32
Are you using the latest version of mlox (0.61)? You can download it from Nexus. That's got all the load order info in that I know of. What you've posted isn't your load order. In morrowind.ini mods are listed in alphabetical order. Do you have links to these mods causing problems? kvngreeley
Thank you so much for your response! You already taught me something new! I thought that the .ini file showed the order the MLOX put the files in. I didn't notice that the .esm and .esp files were in alphabetical order. What was confusing was at the end of the list, there are .esp files that seem out of alphabetical order, maybe because they start with non-capital first letters? Anyway, I was manually changing the order of a couple files in the .ini file, thinking that changed the load order, which apparently it doesn't! That would explain recurring problems with the Trainer Log and Fix mods. I had no problem changing the load order when I was using NMM. My son showed me how to do that really easily. But with Wyre Mash or MLOX, I can't figure it out. Although I read that I could change the file date in Wyre Mash and that supposedly would do it. But if I use both Wyre Mash and MLOX I don't know which one is establishing the load order. I figured out that NMM wasn't installing mods consistently with the readme files of the mods and it as creating a few problems. I did a complete reinstall and then manually added all of the mods again. Now I don't know how to change the load order! I think I have resolved the previous listed warnings. At least I got rid of the dialog ones and the Aradraen ones will probably be resolved if I figure out how to change the load order of that specific mod. There is a Trainer Log and a Trainer Log Fix mod on Nexus. Here is a link to the files for the 50+ warnings. The first is Children of Morrowind that is hosted on Emma's site. COM is needed to run the Ebonheart Orphanage mod. The second link is to the Orphanage mod, which is hosted on the mw.modhistory.com site. http://lovkullen.net/Emma/kids http://mw.modhistory.com/download-24-14091 I think all of the errors are happening with the Orphanage mod. These are the errors: Object "1em_aIngemo" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Script variable "cdcCompanion" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aImhanni" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aYrhan" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aImhanni" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aYrhan" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aImhanni" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aYrhan" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aImhanni" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aImhanni" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aYrhan" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aImhanni" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_ananny" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aYrhan" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aJulienne" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aIngemo" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aImhanni" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aImhanni" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_ananny" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aYrhan" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aImhanni" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aIngemo" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aJulienne" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aYrhan" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_ananny" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aYrhan" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aImhanni" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_ananny" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aImhanni" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aImhanni" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_ananny" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aImhanni" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aIngemo" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aJulienne" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aYrhan" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_ananny" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aImhanni" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aIngemo" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aJulienne" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aYrhan" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aYrhan" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aImhanni" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aYrhan" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aImhanni" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aYrhan" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aImhanni" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aYrhan" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aImhanni" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aYrhan" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aImhanni" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aYrhan" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aImhanni" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aYrhan" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aImhanni" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY"Object "1em_aYrhan" not found for dialogue type TopicInfo "EMPTY" Again, in my last load before reinstall, I fixed all of the dialogue errors by moving the orphanage mod to the end of the load order. The only warning remaining was the cdcCompanion warning. I will go back to trying to find easy instructions on how to see and change my load order. But if you have a simple explanation, that would be greatly appreciated! Obviously, there is so much about this that I don't understand! Thanks for any help that you can provide and for answering this post!
Dragon32
I'd recommend running mlox then hit the Update Load Order button. Also read its Messages pane, there could be some things of interest in there. Things named like this: "1em_aIngemo" are from Emma's mods (that's the prefix she uses) and cdc is CD Cooley. Maybe these aren't for the latest version of Children of Morrowind? kvngreeley
Thanks again! I'm pretty sure they are the latest versions. I think I also found the method to change the load order in MLOX. Apparently, I can create a file called mlox_user.txt and insert the following: [Order]Mod Name Y.espMod Name B.esp Now I just need to experiment to see if I am supposed to do multiple orders if there need to be multiple changes. Like leave a space and then create the next [Order] section. I couldn't find any examples of multiple personal rules. I will use Wyre Mash again to check for dependency issues, run mlox again to see if the order needs to be updated, look in the appropriate pane of mlox to see the load order, and then create the .txt file if needed. If so, I will run mlox again to see if the load order changes per the .txt instructions. I will post back with the results. Thanks again for your help! kvngreeley
So in case this helps anyone, I used the mlox_user.txt file to move the Clean Orphanage mod to the very end of the load list. Unfortunately, I had to make it go after the merged objects and merged leveled lists because that was the only way to get it to the end. When I loaded the game, all of the warnings were gone. The only warnings left are related to the Trainer Log mod and they don't seem to cause any problems. Thanks for the previous responses!
Dragon32
Yep, that's the way to use mlox_user.txt I've downloaded all the CoM mods I can find and slung them in my directory of mods to checkout for adding into mlox (~800 in there...) I'd want to find the specific mod that Orphanage needs to load after rather than just throwing it at the end. If you ever do find out please let me know here. One thing I noticed about Robert's add-on: "Please note: If you are using the Children of Morrowind main mod, you don’t have to use this mod, as all the outfits are already included in the main mod, and for sale at the Caldera Clothier." Oh, did moving Orphanage remove the "Script variable "cdcCompanion" not found for dialogue type Topic[...]" message too?
kvngreeley
Yeah, both the Emma Oufits and Robert Outfits say if you have the COM v2 that you don't need the other mods because the clothes are already there. Unfortunately, in a test game, I checked Caldera, Suran, and Vivec but I couldn't find the clothes. When I added the separate clothes mods, I could find the clothes in Suran and Vivec, but still not in Caldera. Not sure why, but I mentioned it on the Emma forum. I haven't been able to check again in my newest test game yet. Moving the orphanage mod to the end also removed the cdcCompanion warning message too. Thanks! kvngreeley
Also, if it matters because it seems that a lot of Emma's mods are linked, I also use the Playable Children mod, the Morrowind Family mod, and the Lokken family mod for the White Wolf mod. I also have many of the Emma companion mods. Since I wasn't actually moving mods when I was editing the .ini file directly, I wonder if I just need to move the orphanage mod after all those other Emma based mods? Maybe I could put those mods in the order that MLOX defaults to and just put the orphanage mod at the end of the list. Something like: [Order]Mod D.espMod H.espMod T.espClean Orphanage.esp That would just tell MLOX to keep the other mods generally in the order it defaulted to, but to make sure the orphanage mod came last after those. Maybe? Thanks!
