Thanks in advance! ^.^ https://imageshack.us/i/po2zVaHTp Edited August 13, 2017 by KuroiKyoki
nightscrawl
It seems to me the problem is that everything looks flat. It looks the same even in sunlight? Are you using ENB, ReShade, or weather mods that mess with outdoor lighting?

So I'll ask you to list your rig's hardware for us. See if something leaps out at us. Be sure to be exact, especially with your GPU stats (VRAM amount, for example.) You use LOOT, right? Longshots: You're NETFrameworks are up-to-date, yes? You've validated your game files (just Skyrim) through Steam, right?

LeddBate
Ah, there's your biggest problem. Your GPU. The 920m is an integrated graphics chip on your mobo, not a dedicated GPU card. It's not very powerful (relatively low clock speed), has only 2GB of VRAM (DDR3 rather than the more powerful GDDR5 found in dedicated full-sized graphics cards), and is starting to get a little long in the tooth (released in March of 2015.)Some review quotes from Quora..."The 920m is a very low end dedicated graphics card, so it can play games from a few years ago on low or medium.""The GeForce 920M offers a performance similar to the AMD Radeon R7 M260 orR7 M360 and will handle modern games in low settings only"You can review the specs yourself at: http://gpuboss.com/graphics-card/GeForce-920MCheck to see if your laptop has an accessible GPU internal slot. If so, research what will work with it. If your laptop cannot accept a dedicated GPU, you're simply going to have to put up with the graphics as is. That IGC simply cannot drive Skyrim SE at anything over medium/low settings. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

sakora
I had found out the same way that my AMD APU A10-7870k Radeon 7 wasnt worth the money - I had thought it was going to be successful at playing Skyrim SE however it turns out I still have better graphics with my old 5670HD - its low on vram so I use lower textures and performance friendly reshade. Moksha8088
Try this and use the Best Overall Setting at +2. It is one of the programs your GPU can easily handle. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/4577/? A good texture mod would help more than the SMIM program that you are currently using. sakora
I really like Commodores Color Correction ReShade - PERFORMANCE FRIENDLY - when downloading Reshade - dont download the whole library otherwise ReShade will slow down your game load (initally) - choose only the LUT in the Library ;)
scipher99
Asus i7 laptop with GeForce 480 and 16GB ram @ 60FPS http://steamcommunity.com/id/scipher99/screenshots/?appid=489830Even on a older laptop you can still get good results with mods, ENB, and ReShade
