cancerparty1
What mods would most likely be affected by the upcoming 1.10 update? I'm certain anything that runs on the Fallout script extender, but I'm unsure if anything else would likely become obsolete. Currently running mostly weapons, armor and texture packs in BA2 format and loose file format. With the exception of some gameplay overhaul mods, such as agony and survival options. Also, running an ENB, but I'm unaware on how that actually works, so I haven't got a clue if that would be affected either.
pra
The Unofficial Patch, most probably. I set my steam to offline mode already, I won't be updating anything until there is a new F4SE. BTW, are there any actual patch notes for this thing? The only thing I heard about was that *.esl file format
ExcessiveParanoia
Fallout 4 as best as I can tell by reading the page, its the creation kit that's being updated to 1.10, not FO4. FO4 1.10 is mentioned in that you need at least FO4 version 1.10 for the new file format to work, however that particular patch was released Nov. 9th, 2015, so unless you've been avoiding updating your copy of FO4 for all that time, the update won't affect your game. Unless of course you use the CK a lot... Edited August 17, 2017 by ExcessiveParanoia
Ethreon
There's no F4 update, it is for CK.

taryl80
rofl. Most times the people are happy about new updates. Because bug fixes and things like that. But after reading this posting I needed to start laughing.
pra
There's no F4 update, it is for CK. But there has to be an update for the game sooner or later. They need to add support for that new file format, after all. I doubt they have planned it all along from the beginning. edit: it even says here:"ESL support requires Fallout 4 1.10 update or later to work in game." rofl. That's why they release the editors for their games :D Edited August 17, 2017 by pra

cancerparty1
Sorry, I've been busy and barely got to read this thread over the course of the day. I'd like to thank everyone who took time out of their busy schedules to respond to this thread, and clearing up anything that was misunderstood in the main article. If what is said to be true, by the previous post, then I have no worries. My fallout 4 is always up to date, and this assure me that the next update won't completely botch my mods. Again, thank you everyone and have a pleasant day. Edited August 17, 2017 by cancerparty1
ExcessiveParanoia
edit: it even says here:"ESL support requires Fallout 4 1.10 update or later to work in game." Like I said before, Fallout 4 ver 1.10 update was released on November 9th, 2015. While you're correct that Fallout 4 might be updated again in the future, the support for the new file format was added long ago, so you've got nothing to worry about right now.
