The wit and wisdom of Homer Simpson lead to the formation of a cult and over time many myths were created. By utilizing the wit and wisdom of Homer, the wasteland was changed and many great magical deeds were performed. In honor of Homer, the residents even found a way to attract a second moon. Finally, the bulk of the Homeric followers wanted to expand their potential and so left the earth for parts unknown.Vast periods of time passed until even the name of Homer was mostly forgotten and those remaining abbreviated the name to Mer. What came before was referred to as the Merethic Era and that is when the Elder Scrolls entered the picture.Hope this additional lore helps to clarify the long transition from an irradiated wasteland to the beauty of Tamriel.
