gtx 1070 zotac mini help

Recommended Posts

HEY was up gamers, i had a nice gift from a friend of mine a gtx 1070 mini, found at best buy she told me, and a warranty on top of that.. I am kind of confused though can a gtx 1070 zotac mini work in a standard case for now.

Sense its a mini i am worried that it wont run on my sabertooth mobo, the gtx 1070 zotac mini. I am considering going small form factor cases soon anyways.

It'll work with any Motherboard suitable for gaming, and fit in probably any case. It's just shorter than other GTX 1070's basically, if you had an ATX case it'll fit extremely well in there. Also, great choice of reviewer. I love that channel.

Mini just means the card itself is smaller than normal. It will still use a PCI Express slot like any other card. There will be no compatibility issues.

I would recommend uninstalling your old video driver, turn off your PC completely, unplug from the power cord from your PSU -- wait till you dont see any LED lit on the motherboard so you're sure there is no power to it, remove the old card/insert the new, and install the video driver for your card.

I have two now, a gtx 1060 and a 7

Yes it wasn't the card, it was the power supply acting up, it would run for a short while then it would crash, after trial and error it was a hard one to pinpoint. In Heaven now I'm reaching 200 fps stable in lol. Under Windows 7.
