How to make Ground Objects

Hello im trying to make some ground objects for my armor set but i am at a snag, im not sure how to work them in the hierarchy in nifskope. when i try to load it in the creation kit i just get an unpleseant crash. can anyone share how to create a ground object?

make sure the root node is a BSFadeNode, it has correct BSX flag num, apart form that it only contains the collision mesh and the render mesh. Also note the shader flag requirements for skinned meshes differs to the ones for all other objects like statics and props.
