SlayerTime11 Posted March 2, 2012 Share Posted March 2, 2012 i cannot figure out how to mod mount and blade (the original one). i want to make different modules but dont know what to do, i have 7-zip, and have compressed the mods, tries copying the native module ( so i have the original one) but still dont know what to do from there, as i have tried pasting the entire mod's folder into the native folder. didnt work, so i deleted them Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

So i will give you an explanation for both. Modding:- Get the Module System from www.taleworlds.com- Get Python 2.6- Set everything up as explained here: http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,5408.0.html Playing a Mod:- Download and unzip a mod for mount and blade (no warband/wfas)- Copy the folder into your Module folder, next to your Native folder- Make sure the new mod folder looks the same way (same setup) inside as the native folder- Start the game and select your mod in the drop down list of the startup menu Edited March 2, 2012 by dDuh Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
MichikoUnknownFox Posted March 3, 2012 Share Posted March 3, 2012 Yeah think of "Native" as being a mod in a sense. So you put your mod folder in the same folder as Native is in.
