Agnot2006 Posted August 29, 2017 Share Posted August 29, 2017 I moved a lot of old save files to another drive for backup still have lots of recent saves in Save directory and when I restarted game its said You are using a newer version of Fallout than this version of F4SE supports I am using F4SE 0.4.2 which is latest Help.. aeuonym Posted August 30, 2017 Share Posted August 30, 2017 Yes you could play without it.If you try all the mods that require F4SE will at best just not work.At worse they will cause problems and probably crash the game due to F4SE not being present. You could disable the mods that require F4SE which will likely also end up breaking your save.So basicly your options are risk breaking your saves, risk crashing your game repeatedly trying to play, or start a new "vanilla" playthrough with only plain mods (or compleatly vanilla mods that dont run any scripts really) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If I delete the updated FO4 and copy the 1.9.4 back up, without updating it this time... and re-install the mods, will it work, does anyone know?
