Mods and the creation club update...

Does anyone know how to revert to the previous update because with this update I'm unable to play with mods and achievements at the same time. I tried reinstalling the files that allowed me to play with mods and ach. in the past, but it doesn't work. Do I have to wait for the mod author to update the mods/ach. fix?

going through with heavily modded F4 (like I use) and new patch it going to be pain in the ass process eventually leading to scrapping all mods and re-installing with updated versions, once they're updated

thank you Creation Club, you've made my day, I love nothing more then wasting time debugging the game instead of playing it

i hear that. this is going to be... what, like... 2 more days of my life i won't get back? when i'm dying of old age, i'm going to be cursing all those wasted hours tinkering with my mods as opposed to you know actually playing the game.

I'm what you could call new to using mods. But I'm "all in" since I started. Have been adding mods in bunches (currently 200+ running successfully), been testing like a crazy person and tinkering with all of them for weeks, literally, almost two months in fact, so that my game was "perfect" to start a new big playthrough.

I'm deeply worried about all of that now. I don't even dare to let the game be updated, and apparently can't even play if you don't update/are not online (says, game not ready to be played in offline mode). So...

I'm guessing it's really hard to be a mod user if they screw up your game every time they make an update and force it down your throat.

Hey i found this thing https://steamcommunity.com/app/377160/discussions/0/1473095331508079720/ it helped me out for the time being.

I posted there too, but it seems unclear to me how it would help. Doesn't steam re-update the game as soon as you play it again?

EDIT SOLVED: Ok, they explained to me here https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/5946808-new-update-f4se/ I get it now. Thanks for your suggestion.

The sad part is they may actually update a lot more often now pushing these so called paid for mods out like candy. Downside is likely to be the F4SE team not being able to keep up with the constant updates. Seriously Bethesda is pulling some really screwed crap on every one of us forcing the download as a update when its obviously not a update of the game itself. I'm still very angry the files are being stored on my hard drive when they are paid for files that I never bought. That file is likely to end up growing every time they add a new paid for mod that I do not want. That's blackmailing my usage of my hard drive even after I have paid for the game. There is no reason we should have to manually delete these files to keep space down every update. They could have made it a pay item and then made it downloadable the normal way, Seriously Bethesda !

I rolled back to the 1.9.4. version of the game to reenable F4SE. Sadly I can't link to those files. (Some people are, at this very moment, actively trying to put a stop to links to a couple of game files that we paid for and were on our computers yesterday). A little searching and you should find them.

I just became aware of the situation a couple of days ago, I was playing Skyrim all week, then opened FO4 and saw FO4SE needed to be updated, I went to their site and there is an updated version, I installed it last night, then I got the message that Looks Menu needed to be updated so I got that today. When the game loaded, that's when I saw the Creation Club message in load screen. I was watching a YouTube yesterday and realized what was going on. Any how long story short FO4SE is updated to the situation.
