RyanPBaskett
So this might be a really dumb question because I haven't (YET) done enough file checking to know about this for sure yet or not, but is there a way, in Fallout 4, to change out some of the in game music and sound effects with manual ones? I know that typically if you are using a mod you can change out the mod's sound files, but I don't believe that Fallout 4 has the same sound file setup that Fallout 3 did, does it? In FO3 you could just export all of the game's music and sound effects, change out which ones you wanted and then import the files back into the vanilla game to replace whichever ones you wanted to. Anyway, I'd really like to change out some of the sound effects (specifically those of the grenade explosion sound as well as what the impact of an unarmed punch sounds like) with some custom sound files as well as some of the exploration music similar to the way I had it in FO3. If anyone can shed any light on the subject it would be sincerely appreciated. Thanks!

werr92
Everything stayed the same. Because if Beth has taught me something, it's the game engine... The game engine never changes.

RangerDulann
It is easy peasy. You can first use .wav for testing and when its finished convert it to .xwm.
