Looking for ideas for new weapon.

I want to try making a weapon from scratch (models, textures ) . I just can't seem to think of something that hasn't already been done. I was thinking maybe the ripper or flak cannon from unreal tournament or something. It seems like they'd be right at home in the Fallout universe, but besides those two, I need more ideas.

I have a few ideas, now I have honestly WAITED/just thought to post now a suggestion...meant to be....

Ruger Mini 14/Ranch Rifle=Why? Massachusetts AWB compliant(I live in Mass, and own a Mini), offer; .223(target model with barrel harmonizer/make this one more accurate), 5.56, 6.8SPC, 7.62X39, and .300 Blackout. Tactical, Wooden, Folding stocks, 10, 20 and 30 round magazines, hell even a snail drum. ONLY 5.56 Stainless steel rifle made that is semi-auto. This weapon would be LORE friendly considering the most recent Maura Healey AR ban.

VZ61 Skorpion=Why? I love it, ultra small, compact, uses .32 ACP and can have .380, and even 9X19 variants available. Small machine pistol, takes pre-ban magazines(mass compliant magazines) just a cool gun/under-rated. Just an alternative lighter submachine gun for the game. I have held one and it is VERY light for a machine pistol!!! Also I would like to add the CZ83 Why? a double stack .32 ACP..380, and 9X18 Mak handgun that is RELIABLE and is VERY fun to shoot. The CZ83 would round out a Czech Pack, I would suggest MAYBE a CZ gun pack, add the VZ58 maybe?

S&W Shield/M&PC/Fullsize/Competiton= Why? POPULAR handguns(Jerry Mickeluck LOVES his) in the US, comes in 9mm, .40, and .45 ACP, Full size, compact, and sub compact, SHIELD is single stack/lighter weight. LOTS of mods for handguns on the market.

P.A. Luty= A homemade sub machine gun built in the UK and with plans available around the internet for anyone to build. The Commonwealth has VERY strict gun laws, and in the future...people would possibly make their own. The Luty is really simple but cleaner than the homemade sub machine guns cobbled together with rusty pipe in fallout4.

S&W 5906= Versatile, popular, steel framed combat handgun. 9mm, .40, .45ACP, 10mm, and other wildcats. Preban magazines are abundant and the firearms are reliable and inexpensive. Multiple sizes of frames, accessories, and double/single stack capacities.

Ruger LCR- Why? .22lr, .327 Federal Magnum(my favorite), .38 Special, 9x19 Luger, and .357 Mag are all options. 2', 3', and I think a 4' model exist. The LCRX is a hammer shroaded one that is DA/SA. Polymer framed revolvers that are reliable and very popular in Mass considering our options.

1858 Colt Navy Revolver= .31 Caliber, .36 Caliber, and .44 Caliber ball revolvers. I owned a short barreled "Yankee" model that was fun for some time. Barrel lengths include; 2', 4', 6' and 8'.

Beretta Jetfire/950 BS= Why? James Bond carried a .25 ACP 950BS for his early firlms, then went to the Walter in .32 ACP. Available in .22lr, and .25 ACP. BOTH small caliber but popular pocket pistols for the money.

Colt Junior/Pony=Why? Same reasons as above, just an alternative option.

Ortgies Pistols=Why? VERY intersting design/barrel assembly/easily crafted barrels/swapped/fixed. Comes in multiple frames, .25 ACP, .32 ACP, and .380 ACP. Inexpensive C&R pocket guns.

Compact/Commander/More modified 1911's= ALL the 1911 mods for Fallout 4 are fullsize guns, great but they come in a LOT of slide combos/calibers and flavors.

A Pellet gun/Pistol=Why? Better power than the BB gun, but not as good as a real one. Sooo maybe a better Bloatfly kliller than a BB gun, buuuttt not gunna kill a raider unless you get a eyeshot.

Saiga/Vepr=Why? Comes in a LOT of calibers, 7.62x39, 5.45, 5.56, .308, and 7.62X54R,12 Gauge, 20 Gauge, and .410 Gauge shotguns were GOOD AK options for Mass for a long time. Compliant rifles, easily obtained.

I KNOW this is a LOT of ideas, BUUUTT I feel like they would make VERY good LORE friendly guns considering the political climate in Mass. Okay maybe not the Luty or the Skorpion but those are just for fun!! Hope I didn't overwhelm you! Please let us all know what happens/what you decide? I will bookmark this and welcome anyone ideas since I KNOW there are other guns I am not thinking of that should/could be in the game.

An axe. Not like Grognak's Axe, more like a woodcutter's axe.

Upgrades:

- longer handle: increases damage, but decreases speed

- A jet at the back, like for the super sledge

- blade upgrades, like serrated, electrified, flaming (adds shishkebab jets) or weighted.

Also, a spear. Poke people from (some) distance! Could have a pneumatic piston between handle and tip to poke even harder. Or a drilling tip to drill holes into raiders.
