Deleted3082751User
at least 90% of the mod authors would still mod, after all mod authors always originally make mods for their own games. the only time this would stop, is most likely if f4se stopped being updated. and the creation kit stopped working. or bethesda manages to mess up their game so much that it becomes impossible to play it i mean their is still about 10 mods being made every single day, (and these are the ones uploaded to this site) not too mention other sites, where this number is very likely much higher in total throughout all modding sites. a good way of knowing if mods are slowing down or dieing, is checking oldrim nexus, as that game is still very much being modded, and have an abundance of new mods appearing every day. for me personally if i was to stop modding these games, i would abandon them completely. the base game is not good enough for me, especially as the vanilla game without mods is not good at all. back in its day though it was good obviously, but now in the year 2017 which i have been modding skyrim for about 5 years now, i could never go back to the vanilla game. modding is all about keeping the game fresh and alive, if modding stops, the game gets old, and then inevitably gets forgotten. i guarantee you if elder scrolls 6 and fallout 5 do not support free modding, i will definitely not get them, i do not have faith in bethesda for providing us a stable, bug free game. gameplay means nothing if the game is broken.
