ENB Crash to Desktop after loading/starting new game

This is a tricky one.

I'm unable to use ENB. What happens when ENB is installed:

1. I start the game

2. I choose to load a save or start a new file

3. There's a loading screen, as per usual

4. Once the loading has finished, the game crashes to desktop

What I've tried so far to alleviate this:
-various .ini tweaks

-disabling all mods

-using an older version of enb

-using a fresh install

And I get the same problem regardless. This happens with both the Wrapper and Injector versions.

I've got the latest version of SKSE and all that other business.

In case there's something I haven't tried in the .ini files, here they are:

Skyrim .ini: https://pastebin.com/C7n6Zs9A

SkyrimPrefs.ini: https://pastebin.com/2hjrhiY3

While typing this out I went ahead and made a papyrus log:

https://pastebin.com/qP5dbrjq

Note that, at the time this was made, only Skyrim.esm, Update.esm, Unofficial Skyrim Patch.esp, Dawnguard.esm, and Unofficial Dawnguard Patch.esp were enabled.

At the time this started (a couple of years ago) there were no changes to my PC's hardware. I don't remember making any significant software changes either.

If there's anything I forgot to post, my apologies. Any help is appreciated.

Everything looks ok there, I have a couple suggestions for your memory settings:

ReservedMemorySizeMb=128

VideoMemorySizeMb=4064 (unless you are on Win7) because Win 8/10 won't allow more than that to be used on a Directx9 game. Supposedly MS is fixing that in an upcoming update.

What ENB preset are you using?

Are you running any third party graphics-card programs at the same time as Skyrim (i.e. MSI Afterburner)? Those have been known to cause crashes with ENB.

Hmm.. If you aren't currently running a preset, try setting Usepatchspeedhackwithoutgraphics=true . I doubt this will work, but it's worth a shot.

Can you give me your system specs? I'm most interested in how much RAM you have + what your graphics card is and how much VRAM you've got. Along those lines, how up to date are the drivers for your graphics card?

Hey, sorry for taking so long to reply. Dealing with Irma and all that jazz.

Usepatchspeedhackwithoutgraphics=true resulted in crashing just before the loading screen started, but worth a shot anyway.

My specs are in the attached image.

I haven't checked to make sure if I have the latest drivers yet but I will when I get the chance. Just thought I'd keep you posted anyway so you know I didn't disappear.

Give a try to One Tweak, see if it's still a problem as a borderless window...

Are you using Mod Organizer? I don't, I'm not overly familiar with it so it might not work this way at all. It appears that it uses its own INI files rather than the ones in the user directory. What I'm concerned with here is the screen resolution setting - I would expect that once the game has been booted by MO then the settings are done, so if the ENB has to look at the display settings then it'll only know about the ones MO has loaded. However, I'm just wondering if there's a bit of a conflict here, maybe MO is loading one lot of settings while ENB is looking at the default Skyrim INIs, so the game could be actively running as a particular resolution but the ENB is looking at a completely different setting. It's a wild guess, I know.
