Thor.
Hello modders i have AWesome Idea You know those back packs on the side of carriages right, why not make them usable so it'll make it easier to travel, also make them universal so every carriage can carry your stuff from anywhere. Please Modders make it Happen It bothered me from day one that you couldn't use them :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: Edited March 5, 2012 by Thor. Raltheraz
I'm not a total expert but.... You can't actually make the back pack an item that you interact with. because if you did, the back pack would stay floating in mid air whilst the carriage moved on into the horizon. You could make the carriage an inventory slot of it's own though. You assign a slot and you make a pop up menu saying "ride or store you gear". If that's the sort of thing you want. But the original skyrim mechanics just don't allow you to do such a thing, unless you extend scripts and such.... but you would need to extend scripts quite a bit. Hope that you can do something with this, coz' as much as I'd like to make it for you I just don't find it a worthy project for me to embark on. GrimyBunyip
would probably be easier to make the entire carriage into a container lol
IsharaMeradin
Kinda like a bag of holding on the side of the carriage. Since the default game doesn't show carriages moving except for the opening Heglen sequences, there isn't really a reason to be worried about whether or not the backpack "floats" in mid-air. Scenic carriages would be the only mod to be concerned about, and there are ways to automatically spawn all the necessary stuff each time the carriage stops (would just need to learn it). Honestly doesn't even need to be the mesh as the activator. An invisible floating mesh could do the trick or perhaps even a trigger box set to allow activation. Certainly is a challenge that I'd love to take on. Only problem is my graphics went out and the laptop I have as a backup can't play the game. CK works but the game is so stinking slow that trying to test even a simple thing takes forever.
