nobrain98
I've been trying to make my version of excalibur. so i put it in a bag in the ICMarket district, equipped it and it worked finebut when i drop it, it floats. i also need some help with textures, i've looked at countless tutorials but i still need some help thanks
Nephenee13
If the ground model is floating, that means you didn't set up the Havok collision properly. Unfortunately, I don't have a clue how to do that.

Nephenee13
I've actually been looking for a tutorial on creating havok meshes for Oblivion, specifically for Ground models, and I haven't found one, so I'm hoping someone else chimes in.
Striker879
I have a round-about suggestion. There is a wiki article on Removing havoc on an object. I'm thinking that perhaps once you know how to remove Havok the way to apply it may become apparent.

Lanceor
Perhaps upload the mesh somewhere so that we can check it out? (Not Nexus unless it's a "release" resource of course.)
DrakeTheDragon
Well, the common way to go about that was to copy&paste the new weapon mesh into a copy of an existing weapon NIF file with properly fitting bounding boxes for collision. The later NifSkope I think is now able to create such havok bounds with an in-built function, but if not, one must use a modeling app to create such bounding primitives. I've read a lot about how this is done, but so far never really gave it a try.If I find what I was reading up from again, I'll post it here, but I'm not too positive I'll find it again.
