knovack1
Your source files for MQ101 (Unbound) are all there, and since you have no corresponding .pex (Papyrus Extension) files I don't believe they have been modified. A TIF script is a "Topic Info Form", and you having all those out of your Source folder is odd. I'd say you've gotten a very unorthodox mod. Do you have Skyrim as a Steam application, and/or do you have the Creation Kit installed? Edit: You could delete all those TIFwhatever.pex files and see how you go, there's a good chance it would fix the problem. Do you use NMM? I'm just asking because it would be helpful to know what mod those .pex files belong to, and if you use NMM then you likely don't know. I have the Skyrim NPC Editor installed I have the Creation kit installed I play Skyrim through Steam and the NMM I usually have to Launch Skyrim through, The NMM in the Launch SKSE tab. This will then sign me into steam on my account( i only have to do this one time when I start up Skyrim for the day, then everything then after between breaks I can run Skyrim just through the NMM). After doing this one time I get the vanilla launcher window. If I click play from here then my SKSE will not work in game. By closeing the launcher and restarting Skyrim through the NMM in the Launch SKSE tab, my SKSE works fine in game, and Steam is hidden in the background. Hmm. The TIF_xxxxxxxx.pex files MIGHT be the multiple Marriage mod. where X looks like character ID's and all the files are placed under this mod. After the last TIF file I have WICourierScript.pex. But it does not make sence to have so many TIF's all seperate like it shows in my files list. I know in this mod you have to collect letters placed all over Skyrim to get clues to what to do next to find this sort of Seduction potion, the letters look like a courier letter, and it has the typical open animation, and written in the same game text script as all bounty letters, contracts, etc do. Will wait for a responce before I delete these loose TIF.pex files.
Custard7A
I doubt I'm going to be able to understand what exactly is wrong. You probably have a lot of mods, and those third-party programs.. I'm not saying that's the problem (I know many people mod the guts out of their Skyrim and get away with it), but even the vanilla game had some unstability. The more extras you have the more options there are when something breaks. The TIF scripts are all default to the game(That WICourierScript is too). That you have papyrus extensions of them means the original scripts have been edited by someone, likely to accommodate for a mod. These (TIF) scripts are used to hold conditions for quests; References to important characters in a scene for instance, including the starting scene. There is a catch with simply deleting those files. It wouldn't make much sense to edit those without changing them to support a mod, so it's likely you have other files about that are relying on the TIF edits. If you don't know which mod those edits belong to, well, you'd probably want to think about wiping your game of mods to prevent almost definite bugs caused by loose files relying on TIF edits that no longer exist. Sounds like a bummer? Well it is, but so is having a broken starting scene. Just depends which you'd rather have.

So I came to a conclusion that the TIF.pex files might be from the multi marriage mod. I also did figure out what was causeing the buggy begining. It was AP by JoshZ. I deactivated the mod, until it gets updated. Starting at Helgen went on without a hich. This mod will most likely not get updated anytime soon, since Josh does mention he will not work on the mod anymore, and offered other modders to take what he made, and make it better. I would love to take the reins of the mod, but I just started to get in Blender, and Blender has a very, very steep learning curve, especially for someone like me that has NO moding or Scripting Experience at all. Arrick
I have the same problem, a fix for the intro sequence to continue is to console "prid 654ed" and then "kill". The sequence will continue as intented but it's annoying to do every time you start a new character.
DickyBuilder
Hi I had exactly the same problem as the original poster. Had to reinstall and start again to fix it. Not sure what caused it but think animation mods were the cause.
Xetrill
The cause is Animated Prostitution as noted here.
