Connected metro tunnels and pertaining dungeons

Now THIS is a mod I REALLY like! Beats the heck out of seeing all those collapsed tunnels and rubble. Plus, you can stop using fast travel all the time and worrying about being ambushed by Talon Company, raiders, or critters. I'll bet it took a long time to do this one.

That one is cool, yes - I would like to add something to that at some point.

I did start working on this Carrier Mod thing. I'm not too hot with Blender/NifSkope so most of the models will be default - maybe with some innovative modifications. Depending on how long this takes overall I may just look at working with Blender some more to figure it out - I've seen some good tutorials out there along with the videos they offer, but that's such an undertaking.

Point Lookout was a good idea, with one 'small' problem - the carrier is too big to fit properly in Point Lookout, without it becoming 'out of place'. Scaling it down is no good, as it throws the proportions out of whack in relation to your character. So I had to come up with a new spot to put it in. It will likely require Point Lookout, nonetheless. It seemed to make sense to create a whole new world space for it. This will become very involved, hopefully by the time I'm done with it - there will still be interest in FO3, lol.

I must say, I've learned quite a bit more about the GECK in the process of this.

hahah! Yeah, well I was looking for something to do after all!

But the worldspace I created is just far too large, so I'm starting over! lol

I have the hang of what I need to do now, so it will go quicker and better overall, plus I decided to do a 'clean' install of Fallout 3. That will not only make finding data much easier, but will help insure a stable mod when it's done.

I realize my current mods shouldn't matter since I'm not loading them in the GECK, but my normal Fallout 3 install that I play is quite heavily modded. I don't want to end up accidentally including someone else's custom textures/meshes/data/etc in my mod. I wouldn't want to include someone else's data, unless that was my intent and it was ok with the original modder, of course. Don't think it would happen anyway, but still.. :)

Plus, even when loading up the default Fallout.ESM I would get some errors in the GECK. I'm not sure if they are just leftovers from the original devs or if it's something quirky about my normal install. Either way a clean 'development' copy of Fallout 3 will be best without a doubt.

I just LOVELOVELOVE so much to explore and survive underground.

Sometimes, IRL, when I take a look at the night sky, I kinda think, if there's a some planet like Fallout world out there, where those who destroyed that world are doomed to stay forever.

Once I had this dream - a dirty warrior in a ragged uniform chained to a dilapidated concrete wall says: "No, no, no..." as someone in an antirad suit brings to him a charred child skeleton and forces him to hold it and he literally cries his soul out... The surrounding was as just as that of modern Fallout games, with greenish haze and scattered bones all around...

This gives me goosebumps...

Was this mod removed? I went to install it and Nexus said "Site Error" and "Mod Not Found". What gives?

I dunno. I also get the same error report.
