Problems with lightsaber mod

Recommended Posts

Me too, I use lords lightsaber mod. I used Obmm to unpack the mod and there isn't an esp file ENABLED, but still people walk around with lightsabers whose textures haven't loaded and whenever you draw a sword, be it a lightsaber or not, it sounds like a lightsaber, even the fighting sounds like lightsaber battles. Please, can someone help me, I just want to remove the mod, I don't wanna have to reinstall the game and all my mods, is there a shorter way?

What precisely you mean with "used OBMM to unpack" ? I'll assume the mod is an OMOD type. If so, unless for some special motive it is meant to be just 'activated' and removing OMODs is just deactivating and eventually deleting the file.

This, of course, assuming the mod author don't messed the OMOD since beginning.

If you 'unpacked' the OMOD and so did step to step install, assuming you placed the files and folders in the correct place. The easy way is YET reinstalling the mod using OBMM 'activate' function and after deactivating and deleting.

Now, if the comments about the mod don't have several complaints about textures, so, for sure, you messed things and will have to search one by one somewhere at the /data structure and deleting one by one the files that match the ones in the mod.

Im having probs with lightsaebr mod i downloaded it but need help on what to do next!!!

Please help me? :thanks:

You aren't clear about your problem. The first answer that occurs is: Next you need to install it.

But I know that is not the better answer so I say you to read the tutorial about mod installation. Even here in the forum you will find a pined topic about this. Pined to be ever saw by everyone.

Based in the other post, assuming it is an OMOD type, you copy or move it to /Oblivion/obmm/mods and so open OBMM and it appear at the right window.

If it not appear red or black it is secure to just 'activate' (a button you will find easily)

else the mod have serious conflicts and is good you report this, saying what other mods you use.

If it turns blue (all these colors are at a little square icon) it was correctly activated, and so is just play and have fun.

If you don't have OBMM you must get it immediately as it is one of the MUST HAVE utilities.
