NanakoMagojiro
hi everyone, i'm having a problem. and by the looks of it, not alone. I'm trying to unpack the skyrim textures.BSA to get access to the DDS files, using this app: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=4804 Hoever although i could unpack meshes just fine, textures will not work. it throws an out of memory exception and gives empty dds files. Looking at the comments on that file, it's a common problem it seems. So how can i do this? memory shouldn't be an issue, i'm running very little atm and my system has 3GB ram i've also tried the oblivion mod manager, which gave the same results (on both - one worked one didn't) Edited March 6, 2012 by NanakoMagojiro
ita
You can try FOMM, it works for Skyrim even though it's called Fallout Mod Manager.
Sunnie
Have you tried saving a folder at a time? Did you try BSA Commander? http://tes.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=3311Or FOMM (I use the BSA tool in there, never had a problem)?

David Brasher
BSA Commander does not work for me. I use BSAOpt.
Anduniel
What I don't understand is why do you need a mod manager from a different game, if you're trying to texture for Skyrim? Why won't the Skyrim NMM work? I tried, but there didn't seem to be a way to unpack the files. Doesn't make any sense... ??? I also tried downloading FOMM, but it seemed to have only downloaded SKyrim NMM again. I probably didn't do it right, I'm sure.
ghosu
http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/34 ... and why tools from a different game? Because it uses the same .bsa format as Skyrim.
NaomeShade
How is that FOMM working for you? For me it can't find the fallout directory and good bye. What's wrong?
