jbranin
I recently uninstalled a mod for breezehome, and now I have giant hole in the floor at the entrance of the alchemy room. Anyone know how to get rid of it or just reset breezehome back to its original settings?
Brandy1123
More then likely the modder used a markfordelete command to remove the wall/floor and place their new and improved house layout. When you removed the mod, it removed the changes leaving the hole that was a deleted object. Once an item is marked for delete it is gone. Without getting the wall/floor ID, placing it in your home and using the move/rotate x/y/z console commands your pretty much stuck with a sun roof inside. I think a save prior to the mods change will bring it back, as will a new game start without the mod loaded. (then again, if meshes were altered or skins changed, you might be in trouble again.) I know this probably didn't help, but at least it might give you an understanding as to why its gone. Edited March 7, 2012 by Brandy_123
Atreyuu2003
I recently uninstalled a mod for breezehome, and now I have giant hole in the floor at the entrance of the alchemy room. Anyone know how to get rid of it or just reset breezehome back to its original settings? I would say it is attributed to the HUGE problem everyone is having with the new patch 1.4. I lost EVERY single save file to corruption, as well as CTDs. Other people are having texture problems and CTDs. I am just waiting until Bethesda makes another patch to patch the patch that destroyed my game...and a plethora of other poor souls. Unfortunately, I will have to start over after reaching level 33. Oh, well, such is life in Skyrim. Edited March 7, 2012 by Atreyuu2003
jbranin
That sucks. Breezehome is fine when I use another character. It's only for this particular one. If I uninstalled and reinstalled the game would it fix it?

If it works fine on another character then that pretty much confirms what Brandy_123 said, the problem is now your save file. If you upload a screen-shot of the hole I expect I could give you a small ESP file to fix it.
jbranin
thanks for the help everyone. It's ok custard, I'll just continue with my main character then. Guess I'll stick to weapons/armor/texture mods from now on.
