Vindekarr
Where's "hacktivists" when you need 'em? if they want to do some good, why don't they bust back into some of those government email adresses and spam some world leaders with what's right under their noses. Marxist ßastard
Pointless. Good luck getting any REAL US intervention.Actually, Uganda is an important supporter of the War on Terror and we maintain good diplomatic relations. US "advisors" have been in and out of Uganda for a decade now. Last year Obama put 100 troops on the ground in Uganda with specific orders to help eliminate Kony. The self-interest side of this is that in return, Uganda keeps sending troops to Somalia to fight al-Qaida affiliates. The fact is, Kony and the LRA get sustained attention from Uganda, Congo, South Sudan, and the US. There was even a big offensive a few years back, Operation Lightning Thunder, which failed. The problem wasn't a lack of troops, but bad planning and a failure to protect civilians. Going in again will require finesse. Also, the Ugandan government has had its hands full with economic protests, which doesn't bode well for a successful Uganda-led mission. Another thing: LRA attacks have died down. It's possible Kony is dead already. The only reason Invisible Children would start this campaign right now is because it's an election year, and they want to force Obama to unilaterally commit troops right into sub-Saharan Africa (and maybe even Darfur), where they would inevitably have to kill hundreds of child soldiers and civilians. It's sort of a dick move. Edited March 9, 2012 by Marxist ßastard

SubjectProphet
I'll just leave this here. http://i.imgur.com/K3mgn.jpg I really didn't find that funny. China is a serious matter here in America, and to see that people make jokes out of that kind of disgusts me. But once again, support the cause, not the company. Invisible Children is scamming us all. I supported this cause 3 years ago, when it was small and very unnoticed, and now to see that people are gaining money for this and not even using that to stop him annoys me. I really wish that this cause was brought up like this 3 years ago when it started, where it wouldn't be a money campaign, but an actual cause. ita
I prefer supporting causes like Médecins Sans Frontières and Amnesty International.
