Deleted39536550User
Hello,So last night I saved my game and got off, then this morning I opened up skyrim and loaded the save but it just kept loading, and all my other saves work fine. And also I dont want to do the save before because then i will have to do an hour of gameplay again to get back to where I was so how do I fix this? Fkemman11
Load into an older save and then into your newest save.

Deleted3082751User
how big is your save file and how many hours do you have in it ? (could be save bloat, causing the ILS issue - Infinite loading screen) try this program to see if it fixes the issue --> https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52363/? <-- Save game script cleaner = this can fix your issue, depending on what caused it. if this program does not fix it, then chances are it could be save game corruption, if thats the case then you will have to start again and using different mods. other causes would be if you deleted a scripted mod in an active playthrough (a big no no) this will destroy the saves. insufficient memory - however this wont be it, because you can still load your previous saves mod conflict - however this wont be it either as you can still load previous saves. thus leading to the only possible cause which would be save bloat and thus eventual save game corruption. Deleted39536550User
I have Skyrim Save manager, can I clean the file on there? Edited September 30, 2017 by Guest
wfandrews
There are times when a save just becomes corrupted and you can search forever and never find a concrete reason it. I would certainly look into each of twistedfatal's suggestions but if nothing seems to work you may just have to bite the bullet and go back to a previous save. Fkemman11
Try Crash Fixes and see if that helps.

Deleted3082751User
if crash fixes, and save game script cleaner don't fix it, then your only other option is to disable all mods, until the save can load again. when it can then start enabling mods, until it stops loading. (do 5 at a time, to make it easier in trying to find out which mod(s) is causing the save game to not load past the loading screen if the save is still failing to load past the load screen even after disabling all mods, then it is most likely corrupt, that also means that the previous saves will most likely have the same fate, meaning your only option now, is to start again from scratch, with a different (mod load out) the thing with skyrim is, the longer you play it the greater the chance it will crash.
