Transfer Settlements already spawns everything in place, regardless if i, the player, could, or not.So there is no need for this mod in my opinion.Am i wrong? kevkiev Posted September 27, 2017 Share Posted September 27, 2017 I don't use transfer settlements (yet) but, even if I did, I don't think I'd import every one of my settlements into a new game. Some I'd completely redo, even if they're "good enough" for my current game. And I'm not sure there's a single settlement that I'm even generally happy with that I wouldn't change at least a little on a new game. Even in my current game I find myself noticing things that I'll tweak here and there. And I have yet to see someone else's blueprint that I would use as anything but a starting point. So, no, I don't think the need for Place Everywhere has been eliminated at all by Transfer Settlements, not by a longshot. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The question was, if its mandatory for transfer settlements, because it builds regardless of the players abilities to build. montky Posted September 28, 2017 Share Posted September 28, 2017 place everywhere is needed for some mods,where the para-settlement wasn't made properly as a standalone settlement ref. typically, this is for stuff pre August '16 or so.some new lands mods also don't work quite right, so you'll need that if you want to be able to build inside your new-lands pocket dimension,say for example, the "TARDIS mobile settlement" prior to v 1,0,3 orthe Memory Den Virtual Holodeck settlement (which, for a very long time, you couldn't actually exit! it required you to build a new memory lounger in the holodeck... haha fun right?) if you do not have properly made settlements, and do not have place anywhere,and try to apply all the transferred settlements/sim settlement builds at once...you'll encounter possibly the cell reset bug and several other fun issues where they never stop building etc...if you have an extra computer, an extra copy of FO4 and some time for fun because why not;then by all means, it can be 'fun' to recreate those issues at your local LAN club etc. therefore, it can be handy to have |place anywhere or equivalent mods| for some installs and setups,though, if you only have properly made settlements and para-settlements,then you probably would not see any extra utility from the mod.
