Just think about it pirate illegally downloads game creates his character thinking hes about to enjoy his free copy of Skyrim. Then boom head chopped off sent to main menu and save deleted.It would've been fun for a quick laugh. But ironically the pirates would just "mod" it out. Plus if it was so easy to build a way to detect cracked versions of a game without the pirates just being able to crack the detection method too. Well then piracy wouldn't exist in the first place. Piracy thrives upon the fact that whatever you do in code to lock your content, can just be "lockpicked" by counterpart hacking methods. It's a game of rock, paper, scizzors. Which probably will never change except maybe when we invent true Artificial Intelligence. But even then hackers might just find ways to blind the AI itself or they might build their own AI that hacks the piracy prevention AI. In fact there are plenty of games that DO have similar kinds of in-game piracy protection, and they've all been cracked too. But again. Funny for the first gen of pirates trying to play the game. But it'd be fun for a laugh as a Mod you can choose to enable before playing. Also fun for pranking your friends, if you install it into their game without them knowing.
