How to remove "Dragon Scroll"?

Hi guys.

 

Okay so having completed the main quest line, I'm stuck with the dragon scroll. That I no longer need.

I was having a clear up of my inventory. Freeing up some carry weight, and I noticed it weighs a whopping 20. As it's a quest item, though now useless, I can't drop it.

Is there a way to remove it from my inventory. I WOULD like to keep it, and Display it in my player home.

 

Any ideas good people?

Quest items don't weigh anything even if it says they do. You should be able to drop it if you have completed Dawnguard.

In the console, type player.removeitem 2d513 1

This removes it from your inventory

 

Unless you have a mod that allows you to display the Elder Scrolls, or Jaxon's Positioner, you're going to have a tough time setting it down in your house, because things you place on shelves yourself tend to fly around rather easily. To place a scroll at your feet:

movetoplayer

 

This should place a copy next to you. Then it will be up to you to try and get it positioned without accidentally picking it back up.

 

Otherwise just use additem 2d513 1 to add it back to a container in your house.
