PeterMartyr
When you use xEdit Load your entire Loader Order, so it see what the game see, not just the weapon Mod. Then the ID will match, in game. Edited October 9, 2017 by PeterMartyr
fullex2064
You should use the mod âadd item menu â it lets you easily find mod added items in game through a spell

AnkhAscendant
The first two digits of the id number change based on load order, so the number won't be right unless xEdit has your entire load order (at least up to the weapon mod), in the order in which you play with them. A quick and dirty solution would be to note the load order number in your mod organizer (I assume MO lists it, but I don't know for sure) and substitute the first two digits of the item ID for that. Or just use the console. "help [item name]" to find the right id.

Thenryb
I think you are using the wrong mod index number. 02 cannot be the right mod index number. That is the mod index number for Dawnguard. "xEdit" is another way of saying TES5Edit. Try the help command suggested earlier.

I want to download xEdit.. but i can't find it on Nexus.. xEdit is shorthand that is used as a name for whatever game it is used in. For Fallout: New Vegas it would be FNVEdit, for Fallout3 it would be FO3Edit. So people just use xEdit so that they don't have to keep typing the same thing. Also, it is apparent that you did not understand what AnkhAscendant posted. The only way that TES5Edit will display the correct ID number would be if you started TES5Edit with all of the data files loading. If you only load Skyrim and the mod, the first two numbers of the ID will be wrong. The first two digits of the ID are the load order number of the file. For example, if the mod you want to look at is number 15 in the load order, the first digits of the ID number will be 15. If you do not load the first 14 files, TES5Edit will show an incorrect load order number. You chould check the load order number in your load list before you start xEdit. Then when you find the ID number, write it down so, then when you close xEdit, just change the first two numbers to the correct load order number.
