IvanJ
I've read the description and they say that they slow down the "skill growth rate" by 3 times vs Vanilla. Now, I haven't played Oblivion in maybe a year, and today I finished putting together my new computer, installed Oblivion, patched everything, installed OOO and a few other small mods. No leveling mods. So, I played through the beginning dungeon, then I came out and visited the ruins right across the little river. I wasn't able to go down very far - this was pretty tough :) Anyway, I made it back to the city, and I already gained a bunch of skills, but my "progress to next level" is still at absolute 0. I just figured by now I'd be at least level 2. Or is it much slower with OOO? I just hope it's not a bug of some kind.

The path called The Void will stop leveling completely (and is meant to be used when one wish improve skills without leveling). Verify how this leveling is done, the default is using your main attributes as in standard game, but there are others ways. you can use the minor power like spell ("change destiny" the name, i think, or something like this) to access OOO menus. PS: as going level 2 when exit the prison is the 'normal' of vanilla game. OOO pull you to level one again but this is the way it works and don't mean leveling stopped. PS2: recalled now I use KAS-AF too, and those informations above are from this mod.If not doing this already consider using the Kobu's character advancement system that integrates very well with OOO and even the enhanced UI mods like the Darn's one. IvanJ
OOO is the "most popular mod" out there and they wouldn't even include this kind of thing in their README?
IvanJ
nosisab where did you get all this destiny stuff from? I can't find it anywhere. OOO specifically mentions that it's NOT A LEVELING MOD and should not affect leveling. It does, however, slow down the skill progression. From what I've seen, my skills grow pretty well, and I have trained a lot of them already. But my level progress marker is still to the far left. Anybody else have any idea? Nobody played the "most popular mod"?

The paths of destiny are from this KAS one. I personally like it for its several features and compatibility with the major overhauls.
