Get some, put 'em in the Arcane Assimilator and hit seperate. If you already did the main quest, closing all Oblivion gates, then do the Midas quest for the Prime Morpholith to gain the spell to open gates to Oblivion at will. If you need more info consult the books Midas has in his shop.

If you need more info consult the books Midas has in his shop.Indeed this quest can be done at any time, providing you can beat the 'guardian'Is a good way to get sigil stones without even need to start the main quest.
