Deleted43495307User
If I had more modding knowledge I would create this mod myself. This mod should add some NPCs in the major cities to whom you pay, e.g. 10 or 20 gold, and the Hair section of the race menu appears so you can change your hairstyle and beard. It is a lore-friendlier way of changing your hair and beard instead of going all the way to Riften and paying 1000 gold to the face sculptor just for a haircut. Jannifer
Provided that SSE works the same way as SLE, then you should be able to open the console and fix the issue yourself. Hit the ~ key to open the ingame console and type ShowRaceMenu. You'll be taken back to character creation where you may change whatever you like. I would advise doing this while you are in an interior cell, just for the sake of safety.
twowolves80
I think he meant in-game without using the showracemenu command, Jan. Similar to what we have in Fallout 4. Would require a simple script, I think, but I have no idea how to write it.

I like the idea; reminds me of the barber shop in World of Warcraft.
twowolves80
Barbers were also the surgeons of their time. When someone fell ill, they called for a barber. lol No kidding. Fits right in, and is lore friendly. Edited October 30, 2017 by twowolves80

It seems to me that, because of the existence of healing magic, this real facet of medicine would have developed differently in a setting with such magic. twowolves80
Yes, but alchemists are only dealers of potions, and necromancy is outlawed, even though they seem to have a rather intimate knowledge of internal anatomy. There's no midwives, either, by that argument. I could see a barber perhaps working out of alchemy shops--that would make more sense than on their own in a setting with magic.
