ukmerked Posted October 26, 2017 Share Posted October 26, 2017 So I was playing Skyrim yesterday doing a quest and all of a sudden my camera went into third person, and I could not move. I could open the map, fast travel, get my weapon out and all that, but I just could not move whatsoever. Update: I can go into first person now, but still cannot move. I tried looking it up today, and I installed Wrye Bash as I saw a discussion about Mods might be missing from your save. However I do not know how to use Wrye Bash. It said for some of my mods that the masters (Dawnguard and Dragonborn) were out of order. So I tried moving them around, but nothing seemed to work.I also tried loading up earlier saves (not really far back ones however, only a maximum of around 5 minutes before) and all would be fine until I fast travelled, and if I didn't, then It would happen again eventually. I tried enableplayercontrols and tfc 0 as someone suggested, but neither worked. I deleted a few mods that had the orange box next to them on Wrye Bash, and I also ran GenerateFNISForUsers, and Dual Sheath Redux Patcher. I just want to get this fixed as soon as possible. May I ask if this only applies to your character? Are NPC's walking around correctly? You can try these commands in the console: SAE IdleStop - Stops many normal animationsSAE IdleChairExitStart - Stops most sitting/kneeling animationsSAE IdleLayDown_exit - Stops most laying down animationsSAE HugA - a short hug animation that seems to stop any idle (don't know why) I'm pretty sure the issue has to do with some kind of animation problem. Run FNIS after this and generate a new animation patch. You do use FNIS, don't you? I'm not familiar with all your mods but I think I saw a few custom animation mods in there. The four commands did not really seem to have any effect.This bug only happens on my character, all the NPC's around me are walking and behaving completely normal.I ran FNIS, but no change after that. I know this might be quite hard to figure out the problem because (like you said) a few of the mods are unrecognizable. twowolves80 Posted October 28, 2017 Share Posted October 28, 2017 (edited) For future reference, using WryeBash isn't hard.When you see the orange boxes, it means that the masters aren't in the expected order, not that their out of order. There's a subtle difference there that is key. To fix this is easy. Make a note of each mod that has an orange box, then close Wrye out.Load each mod one at a time in TESVEdit. This means, right click, Select None, then tick ONLY that mod that's orange in WryeBash. Let it load. When it's finished, right click the mod in the left pane. Select Sort Masters.Looks like nothing happens right? That's good. That's what it's supposed to look like. Now, close out of xEdit. When you do, you'll get a Save dialogue box that pops up. Select Save. Done. When you open WryeBash now, that mod will no longer have an orange box next to it. Thank Tony971 for that trick, which I learned from his defunct MO tutorial page. Some modders will tell you that doesn't matter. Don't listen to them. If the masters aren't in the order a mod expects them to be, it can (and probably will during some point in your playthrough) cause jinky behavior. It seems that no characters move, NPC or even my own.
